The offer isn't terrible imo player for player but Caulfield is younger and fits MTLs timeline much better than Guentzel. But there's like 5 or 6 active players in the entire league with as many or more 40 goal seasons (Guentzel is on pace for another one and hes basicslly a guaranteed 80+ 35G season every year with similar playoff stats) and Cole Caufield is not one of them, at least not yet i should say... Guentzel is criminally undervalued tbh outside Pens fans. Also Vancouvers not taking on 1.5 more mil in cap unless its a no brainer swap and nobody can call Graves a no brainer bc he hasnt been worth the cap hit for us thus far...Minnesota thats a top pairing dman for them at an affordable cap hit and theyre strapped for cash I dont see them doing that either...
