In my opinion this might be the most realistic post I’ve seen. Nicely done.

Reichel hasn’t exactly been the bright spot that he was expected to be. That being said, I’m not exactly sure how the Canes would value him, but if they were interested, I don’t think Khazheyev would be moved. If the Hawks are interested in acquiring a goalie prospect in a move like this, I think the Canes would be more interested in moving guys like Kucharski, Velmakin, Naumov, or Hamrla.

I wouldn’t necessary be opposed to a swap for prospects that are struggling. Reichel for Gunler, one of the 4 aforementioned goalies prospects, and maybe a late round pick swap.

Hawks aren't trading Reichel. That trade doesn't happen.

This has to be a troll. You couldn't possibly believe that Reichel trade was actually a good idea.

Nobody is giving up anything for Tinordi. The Sanford trade doesn’t seem like it would be worth the effort for either side, to much paperwork for not a lot of return. If Davidson does decide to move Reichel, would have to think it would be for something remotely interesting.

Neither the Isles nor anyone else is giving up anything of value for Sanford. He's waiver bait. The same probably applies to Tinordi.

Why would Chicago put them on waivers? It’s not like they will be adding a bunch of players at deadline pushing these guys to waivers. Small next to meaningless cost to acquire im not sure it’s worth not picking over.

I didn't necessarily mean Chicago would put them on waivers, but more that comparable players (13th forwards & 7th defensemen) are available for free on waivers all the time so no need to waste an asset on acquiring those specific ones.

Tinordi also makes $1.25M, something a team like Edmonton can't afford for a 7th / 8th defenseman. So even of he were free on waivers they wouldn't put in a claim.
