It’s a very fair offer for Knies but Knies isn’t available certainly when he’s on him entry level ask again in 2 years

Shows OP isn't very familiar with either team. Marchenko needs to be paid after this year, something that Knies ELC in invaluable to them specifically for, like you allude to. Marchenko has been a really great culture guy and so far, is the only young core player that's really earned my trust to be part of the new leadership group as the young team grows. Just doesn't make sense considering either teams situation.
