I don't see OTT trading Batherson.
    The CBJ trade makes sense.
The Cody Ceci trade to Chicago is a cap dump.

Jackets would rather hold onto him.

Ottawa is not interested in moving Batherson for futures unless it's a massive overpay.

IMO, the only way Oilers get Batherson is if Bouchard is somehow involved.

    Ottawa declines.

Trading Jenner makes sense at this point IMO. It just has to be for a return that works. Broberg wouldn't be a player the Jackets would be interested in with Werenski, Provorov, Bean, Mateychuk, Svozil, and like 6 or 7 more LD prospects in the system.

Hawks might consider that. Although I could see them asking for a sweetener as well.

    💔

In all seriousness, I don't want to trade Jenner until he's in the last year of the contract. He's so valuable to the young guys coming up, I want him to be the model of what being a jacket means to these guys.
BUT I get its a business too, and if is moved it better bring back something worth it.

Broberg +1st is a good start and I really like Broberg, even if we have so many guys coming up. They all won't beable to play and I could see him pushing the others out for spot. He's killing it in the AHL
