Buffalo is the wrong team to trade Hanifin to and that seems awful for them anyway even if he came with an extension.

You might get Mitts alone for Hanafin if the extension is already in place but that's it.

Change Hanifin to Andersson and we can keep the conversation going, some tweaks here and there.

It's hilarious that you think you would be able to sign one of the most coveted free agent assets with dozens of options considering the absolute dumpster fire Buffalos been for the past few years.

Cool, so let's give up all that for 20 games of him.

Thanks for assisting my point (while being a jerk)

Hope you enjoy your own dumpster

You understand that trading for him would mean that he is willing to sign with you guys since there is no chance you guys make the playoffs this year, it is much easier to convince a guy to sign while he doesn't have 30 other teams calling his phone as a free agent.

So in that scenario that he would be willing to re-sign this trade isn't worth it for the flames.

Exactly how does it make me a jerk in pointing out how bad Buffalo has been as a free agent destination for years now, maybe try wearing your big boy pants and not get sensitive at every slight jab, hope you guys end up doing well next year.

If Hanifin would be unwilling to sign as a UFA,
why would he sign w us if we traded for him now???

This is ABSURD

The proposed trade is LAUGHABLE
And there’s ZERO CHANCE the Sabres would do ANYTHING even remotely close

We don’t want Hanifin
We aren’t trading Mitts

Dear Flames fans,
Please take ANY trade ideas u have involving the Sabres & just delete them
We want ABSOLUTELY no one from you
Not Hanifin, or Vladar (🤣🤣🤣), or Tanev, or Backlund, etc
And we aren’t massively overpaying for Andersson or Weegar, who u guys aren’t trading anyways

Please just stop

laugh Buffalo isn't trading Mittelstadt for a pending UFA in Noah Hanifin. Buffalo is already paying Dahlin and Power around $19,300,000 combined the very last thing they need is another $7,500,000 x 7-8 years for Noah Hanifin.

Hanafin to the Sabres is not a bad idea. It would be logical for the Sabres to pursue Hanafin in free agency.
