Once again, EDM isn't giving a 2nd for Okposo.

A right shot RD (which are hard to find) with a M-NTC on a VERY good contract until 26/27 for a possible 2nd or 3rd line center (which we may have in Poitras) who is an arbitration eligible expiring RFA? Seems like a no brainer for Sweeney to decline and Adam’s to even try to ask!

Conroy says the pick is a start but it'll take a better offer than that to get me to even think about moving Andersson.

Hasn't Samuelsson been playing not great this year? Seems like I've seen quite a few Buffalo fans saying that? Obviously a defenseman needs to go the other way so he would make sense to be included. I just don't think he holds enough value to take that trade over the top. Don't know much about McCarthy but I feel him or Strbak have to go the other way as well. Other than Hunter, they really have nothing for RHD in the system.
Boston is also a team with very little RHD depth so trading Carlo for a forward would be a very bad move for them. I don't think Mitts is the type of centre they would really want and probably end up being a winger in Boston, who knows though. But yeah easy pass for Boston. Creates a much bigger hole than it fills and cost alot more in dollars and cap.
A 2nd for Okposo seems really rich. Maybe a mid pick. Who knows though, GM's do crazy things.

Samuelsson hasnt been as bad as Sabres fans have made him seem, he also played hurt the majority of the year. They did the same with Levi and UPL.

It really is.

If Nucks Elias P wants out and contract talks go nowhere I’d include him in a package. Beyond that, i’m not moving him

Only reason DS might give it any thought is Carlo’s concussion history. Quite frankly if I was him i’d retire when his contract ended if not sooner.

i don't think it's that easy either. the difficulty for us on the outside is we have no way of knowing how the bruins view middlestadt. this organization places a tremendous emphasis on culture, and style of play. my guess is that they do pass because they can't see him being a top six center for the way they play. from a value perspective, it's certainly not something that can be easily passed up.
