If the Avs wanted to sign Kadri for $7M until 2029, they would have done it themselves.

Giving up a great young defenseman, one of your only good centers, a 1st, and a prospect for a 33 year old on a bad deal with 5 years left and a 34 year old rental D is foolish and shortsighted at best.

Maybe if he could stay healthy but he can't. He's on IR almost as much as he's on the roster.
