Tkachuk is more gifted offensively + #HITZ (well known to increase a players value 400%)+ has an elite brother way better than him

The Sens are building around Tkachuk, Stutzle and Sanderson. They’re not moving Tkachuk without a building block piece coming back

Hey, don't drag us into this! We need Jiricek more than we need Tkachuk, and I haven't seen any CBJ proposals suggesting we target him anyway.

The Meier trade is proof of why teams should be more weary about those kind of big trades

Ottawa would never move Tkachuk for Bratt, Kyrou, Marner, Necas and all those soft players

They had DJ Smith for 5 years and their goalies save percentage were .885 until this recent run. But yes blame Tkachuk

Brady Tkachuk is imo among the top 5 most overrated players in hockey

Not sure if he’d be in my top 5 but I agree he’s overrated. Mainly because of his last name imo

Pettersson wouldn’t be a starting piece in a Tkachuk trade. Tkachuk would be a starting piece in a Pettersson trade with quite a bit more coming to Vancouver (and that’s only if we can’t get Stutzle or Sanderson to headline the package. At that point it moves to Tkachuk++)

0 chance the Sens ever move Stutzle or Sanderson . Might be lower than 0

Tkachuk is 99% untouchable but maybe for a guy like Pettersson they consider it . But it won’t be with gigantic pieces on top of Tkachuk

It would take quite a bit more than Tkachuk to get Pettersson. A 100+ point, Selke level defensive center is worth a lot more than an all offense, 70-80 point winger

Probably would add the Boston 1st and a couple of minor pieces. You’re forgetting Brady has term and Pettey doesn’t

Would take a lot more than a late 1st and minor pieces. You’re forgetting Petey is a lot better than Brady, and also plays the more valuable position

Can’t lie tho a team with Tkachuk, Carlsson, Gauthier, Terry and Celebrini/Lindstrom would be insanity

I wish our gm would at least pretend he wants more of this. We have a soft team that doesn't score on the power play. That's OK, I'm sure it'll all be OK if we ever make the playoffs, ya know, when the refs put the whistles away.

I don’t get why u guys are like that . You have all these offensive players and Power and Dahlin should be great PP QBs

Flyers
Devils
Canes
Predators

These 4 teams in my opinion have the most to offer the Senators as far as what they’re looking for in return. I had Bruins in there but took them out due to the fact they don’t have a lot of draft capital.

Canes offer doesnt include Jarvis, they put more emphasis on contract value than most teams. Canes offer is Necas, Kotkaniemi, maybe morrow, Jackson Blake, Felix Unger Sorem, Heimosalma and picks. Not all those guys but a pairing of them and whatever picks needed to make it happen I imagine.

Yes.... Why not keep the leader of your core who hasn't proven an ability to perform or live up to expectations?
