    Save yourself the 4th round pick and just buy out Hamonic.

    No interest in exchanging 5 more seasons of Kevin Fiala for one more season of Jakob Chychrun even if the injury to Adrian Kempe turns out to be completely momentary.

    Jets shouldn't. Hamonic has a full NMC, so that means no waivers and no minors next season so you are stuck with him on the roster as 7/8D. This is OTT Hamonic, not NYI or VAN Hamonic.

    Caps might accept this if they move NAK, Dowd, and Malenstyn, but its more likely they'll just run with some combination of Frank, Sutter, Limoges, and Dube instead.

    I doubt Winnipeg has any interest in getting stuck with Hamonic's contract next year since he has an NMC that blocks putting him on waivers or burying in the AHL.
