You can have Chychrun for him as long as he comes with an extension

Personally, I like Grundstrom and Kaliyev, but I’m not so sure the Sabres are looking for any more young wingers. Of the two Grundstrom may be the better fit because he’s a bigger guy and they need to add some size. Matt Roy would be my top target in free agency if he actually gets there.

Oh I like them too but if kings keep losing players it’s probably a good idea to get some draft capital or change of scenery type trade.

Kings should absolutely look to trade Roy this TDL. They aren’t a contender. They’ll make the playoffs, I think lol. But looks like the injury bug could be hitting them late.

I think your asks are a little steep here. I have to think that it would cost around the same as Hronek did last year a 1st and a 2nd. And he had an extra year of control with it ending in RFA instead of UFA.

The 1st comes back with an extension. Either way I think Roy should get a 1st if traded. We’ll see.

The 3rd may not go the other way if not extended.

Mikey Anderson is week to week and every game is a must win from this point on, no way the Kings trade Roy with that injury.

Exactly why I think they should trade Roy. This season could be lost with the injury bug hitting late, especially if LA loses Kempe.

Yeah it’s not looking good right now. I don’t know which will garner more. TDL trade or offseason. If Roy can be traded at the draft or near it I hope they can get at least a 1st and prospect if he isn’t traded by TDL.

Typically a team who is on the bubble (which LA is) there is a discussion, but LA is so far ahead of other bubble teams it's unlikely Blake throws in the towel, especially since his job is on the line. I think he's going to overpay for a goalie. I don't like it, but I think it's where we are headed after last night.

He better not trade for a damn goalie!

It’ll be bishop all over again, ugh!!

And no I don’t think Roy actually gets traded at the deadline. This has offseason written all over it

The rumor is Kings are in the lead for Saros, 1st, Kaliyev, and Spence works if Arvidsson is on LTIR until near the end of the season. I hate it, but I think they wanted to see if Rittich could stand up to the Oilers.

Hronek has been really good this year, but he did not have the same value he would NOW at last year's deadline. He was on a bad team and okay. Not great. I think Roy is in a tier above that based off of known play. You do make a good point about RFA/UFA status, though. If there's a trade, I'd have to imagine it's to a team that has a significant chance of re-signing.

Maybe in the slightest but not far off imo.

Like the 3rd could be a bit much for a team. Depends on how desperate a team is.

      Berggren is unhappy with DET.

I could easily see this happening especially if Roy has a high probability of signing in DET. Welcome to the TDL.

What does Berggren being unhappy have to do with not making a bad trade?

      that’s your opinion ya clown
So it has everything to do with the trade with him being unhappy.

So it’s not a bad trade.
