All teams not named Chicago easily decline those 4 trades. So that pretty much kills your Cup hope's. And can't see the Hawks going after Reinhart either.

Hawks are not going to go for it next season, so that pretty much negates Reinhardt from being signed and every trade you have here (not that any of the other teams would agree anyway).

I would like to see him with a couple elite supplementary guys who, at least one of which, can dangle and dazzle a bit, to take some focus and double teaming off of Bedard, and then at least one of which should be a gritty 200ft defensively responsible "selke-type". I would've loved to see him play with Hagel, who can do all of that, if we hadn't traded him to Tampa. Even though I know CHI isn't going after any big UFA's this summer, I have found myself drooling over the idea of putting a Guentzel-Bedard-Reinhart line together, but again that is just pending UFA's. Could also go with two guys he named when asked "if you could play with any two guys in the NHL who would they be", and he named Crosby and Eberle.

There are too many combinations that would be fun to watch, and I can't even begin to predict chemistry. I'm gonna give myself a handicap where they need to be on an ELC, and go with Byfield-Bedsy-Jarvis.

If Eberle makes it to free agency, I'd be shocked if the Hawks aren't in on him. Seems like an ideal target for the type of deal the Hawks want to dole out. Short term w/ high AAV. I wasn't aware of the Bedsy love either.

Yeah. It was just a little snippet he was asked in a locker room scrum during the pre-season, I believe. He mentioned it being in part because he was also a Regina Pats legend.
