that 2024 first could very well be top 10, not sure how much more you could really ask for

went back and forth on it but Pelech hasn't been the player he used to be for 2 full seasons now, dont think he has as much value anymore as people think

Yea he can’t be moved until next year anyway because of the NTC but if he doesn’t get back to way he used to be next year, I could see us moving him.

I’d rather a Chychrun-Pulock swap than Pelech. Ottawa needs a RD.

Could also be something like #18. Talk to us again when you know where the pick _is_ instead of _might be_. The 2nd and 3rd being pushed out to 2025 doesn't help you proposal either.

And if it's not?!?

Well, we could ask for a guarantee that the prospect selected doesn't turn out to be one of the following, none of whom could or can lace Zegras' skates:
Nolan Patrick (2/2017)
Dylan Strome (3/2015)
Jesse Puljujarvi (4/2016)
Olli Juolevi (5/2016)
Filip Zadina (6/2018)
Lias Andersson (7/2017)
Alex Nylander (8/2016)
Vitali Kravtsov (9/2018)
Vasily Podkolzin (10/2019)
And the NY Rangers aren't too happy yet about Kaapo Kakko (2nd overall).

That's 10 players out of 5 drafts that a top-10 player didn't turn out well, let alone as good as Zegras.
