I highly doubt any player with term will be moved. JD will basically just move the players who are expiring and let the new GM figure out the other players in the offseason.

That's a no from the Jackets. If we move Gudbranson the idea would be to get rid of all of that cap he takes up, because we need someone like him on the bottom pair as is and signing someone similar is likely to cost us any savings we get from a 50% retention trade. That cap damage is already done.

That flames trade is brutal for the leafs. Lilly has started to show his ability with an actual partner in Brodie. Leafs shouldn't be wasting a first round pick on any d-man over 30. Leafs do need a RD to play with Reilly but their not giving up their only right handed d-man with cap control.

I love how a year ago the Gudbranson signing was the worst thing ever to grace the NHL and would costs multiple assets to move.
