Too much for Savard, not enough for Toffoli.

Savard with zero retention, I think this is more than fair value. Not sure Chibrikov is the prospect Habs would target however. Any decent C, RD, or G prospects that are of similar value? And not that he's a prospect, but I personally would have interest in Morgan Barron if he could be available.

Side note, how's Monahan doing? Seems he's basically come as advertised. Strong faceoffs, good on the PP.

This is a deal it would take for MTL to move Savard but I don’t think Chevy would pay that much either
Anyway, after Friday no more David Savard trade smile

I swapped Kupari with Chibrikov. Kupari is the C that MTL wants but Chibrikov has more prospect value

I'd prefer Kupari over Chibrikov, Habs are overloaded with mid-sized middle 6 wingers. Although the fact that Kupari has to go through waivers is problematic. Would have to free up a roster space, but if MTL moves Evans at the deadline or this summer, then I'd do the deal.

You are moving a Dman...and potentially a G away...that opens a space up

Pretty bad overpay for Savard. Both pieces on their own have more value.
