Delusional pens fan.

We just saw hertl go fpr less than 2 late 1st with term at a great cap hit and guentzel not return a garunteed 1st.

Nobody is giving even half that for a 37 year old pending ufa crosby.

when is the last time a 37 years old got that much in return...

getting corsby from the habs perspective makes no sense. you can also keep dreaming if you think you would get that offer. You are no better that who your are calling delusional.

It might be Sidney Freaking Crosby, but you're not trading prime Crosby, you're trading 37 year old Crosby. His best hockey has already been played, and his performance will continue to decline. He's probably got a good 3 years of top 6 production in him, but not much past that.

You could command Dach, who is a project, and a protected pick, but that's about it.

Pretty sure the reason that Guentzel went for so little was that A: Dubas bungled the negotiations and priced out bidders, and B, because Pitts prospect/pick pool is so shallow, a quantity return actually was appealing to try and restock the cupboard with youth.

IF Sid the Kid gets traded it would be something like the LA Kings to Blues trade for Gretzky (The greatest of all time)

On Feb. 27, 1996, the Blues acquired Wayne Gretzky from the Los Angeles Kings. In the trade, the Blues sent a fifth-round pick in 1996, a first-round pick in 1997, Craig Johnson, Patrice Tardif and Roman Vopat to the Kings.

That equates to Jesse Ylonen, Joel Armia, Lias Andersson, 1st and 5th rd picks for Sid the Kid

If Sid was getting dealt, he would want to go to a good team like Colorado for a chance to win the cup and play with Nate. Not a dog$hit Canadiens team that isnt going anywhere anytime super soon and is in basically the same spot in the standings as the pens.
