Hard pass. Feel free to make an offer for just Faulk.

There really isn't anything that the blues would want as a centerpiece for a Kyrou trade.

Just for reference, 3 out of the last 4 trades the Hawks made were them paying depth picks to acquire depth players. Ceci is still a good player, just needs to be in a limited roll unlike the one he has had in Edmonton. Pretty sure Kyle Davidson takes something like this, especially since they have a few open spots on the roster and young guys who will need a bit of sheltering.

Hawks fans are going to be unreasonably against the Ceci trade but I do genuinely think the Sharks are a much better fit for him

Blues aren't gonna move Kyrou but you could def grab Buch instead

Just making up stats here? Their last 4 trades were acquiring beauvillier for a 5th when the team was decimated by injuries. Trading beauvillier away for a 5th at the deadline. Paying nothing for an ahl player in rem pitlick. Then paying a 7th for Corey perry which didn't work out.

There's no need to take on ceci's contract without being compensated. If they want a RD they will just sign a ufa. If Edmonton wants to clear cap space they can pay the 3rd round pick that the hawks have gotten in many other cap dump transactions recently or find a different trade partner.

Making up stats? You just confirmed what I stated. Lol
I can see Chicago wanting compensation but this isn't a bad deal at all.

Your correct. The value isn't bad. But the reality is the Hawks need a 3rd pair RD for one season until Nolan Allen is ready for the NHL. There are plenty of options for the Hawks to fill that spot in free agency without spending a pick. Hawks could even just re-sign Megna to fill the spot. There's really no need to trade for Ceci.

Pretty sure he doesn't because they don't need to trade for a RHD unless they think they can retain half at next year's TDL and get a 3rd rounder or better for Ceci...that would literally be the only reason they would have any interest for a 6th or 7th rounder or even for free.
