Lindholm:

I wouldn’t be upset if stl went after him. After shipping orielly and barbashev, there’s room for a Lindholm. Stl is a lot more interesting if Schenn and Buchnevich are full time wingers. Right now our depth chart beyond Thomas is Kevin hayes then a guy who’s playing his 3rd nhl game or a guy who’s played 47 nhl games, or a winger in disguise. After that the depth chart hits the OHL. That’s the opposite of having enuff centers.

I think he’s going to get a big bag. A big cap bump will facilitate more interested bidders. I think Hertl’s contract is an excellent comparable.

Perhaps 8.5million AAV over 7 years is fitting. Def won’t be the best contract your gm ever offered, but the environment is one of extremely limited choices and options.

I think he goes in asking for way too much, no one bites because he's been legit bad for 2 straight years. And ends up signing a 1/2 Year Deal with a fringe team in 5-7M range. To try proving that he still has it.

I could see him pulling a Duchene and signing for 1 year ultra cheap on a good offence as well and rack up those points...
