We won't attach a 1st to move Krug. It'll only be a few mil at most retained or we just buy him out. Don't see the point in adding assets to get rid of him

Why are you attaching a 1st to move Krug when you have 11m in cap space left?

Hawks decline. A 1st isn't enough to take on the last 3 years of Krug's deal. And the Hawks have no place in their lineup for him anyway.

Hawks would not decline this - you need salary to hit the floor. Blues wouldn’t do it either though and Krug would prob not waive so none of it matters

Blues don’t do Hawks trade. Other teams don’t do other trades.

The hawks have plenty of options to reach the cap floor other than taking Krugs garbage contract.....so Like Hawksguy81 said....hard pass.

    1. A team that possesses Seth Jones contract calling any contract garbage is amusing.

    2. You have a terrible GM if he turns down a 1st rd pick that will be a top 15 pick next year more than likely to eat a contract before your team will be competitive again. The Blues wouldn’t do this so none of it matters.

Costs more than a 1st to dump 3 years of Krug.

Hawks only position of depth is LHD. So they would probably decline. If Krug played right side than we'd have something to talk about.
