Foote is currently untradeable and both Samuelsson and UPL are not something Sabres would trade away.

Also you gotta at least add a 1st or a good prospect like Holtz for Lightning to bite on it

Trying not wear rose colored glasses too tightly to my face - TB has always placed a tremendous amount of value on cost-controlled players with term. Getting Bahl (2nd pair upside) and Siegs (2nd pair with a good contract) seems on par with the type of deal they usually try to make. Maybe we add a 2nd or 3rd future.

You’re right. Funny that they are both New Jersey property though, right? Anyway, the idea of trading Luukkonen now is practically preposterous. He is essentially a Vezina caliber goaltender this year. The only question is whether he can continue this level of performance, and Buffalo isn’t about to trade him before they find out. It may mean that Devon Levi is a 1B to his 1A, but Boston has thrived with two strong tenders behind that defense. Is it unbelievable that Buffalo could do the same?

Would they ever move Hedman though? (I don't know the answer).
But did see a TBL fan suggest it before deadline.

Yeah UPL has been absolutely lights out for months now. Earlier he was more of a “is this guy a legit starter” and now he’s playing like a Vezina candidate at 24 (he might be 25 I’m not sure) years old

Probably not but who knows. I think the guys your sending are sensible and consistent with what TB would want if they are going to retool this summer.
