I don't think PHI would be interested anyway. He has durability issues, but he's good when he's healthy. OTT has to figure out what to do with one of their LD. Too many lineup issues to have all three another season IMO.

Ok, he's missed 10+% of games in five of his nine regular seasons including two lengthy durations last year. Having one full season doesn't erase those concerns.

He changed his diet and his workout routine he would've played last year but we were out of the playoffs so he wanted to rest and was a healthy scratch in Arizona for trade reasons

I think slightly more than this but agreed that at this point he isn't getting a big return. My guess is a 1st + 3rd + mid prospect

The track record of him being good, and him only being 25 means more than the 40+ games of mediocre to bad hockey he's played under Martin. Even this season he's clearly demonstrated he's a better player under a different coach. 21 points in 25 games for DJ. it sucks because his poor play has torched his odds of sticking with the team he wanted to play for, but they'll still get a good return for him, just not what they paid.

Chychrun is the only defenseman this season to play in every game....

Flyers are definitely interested, they want a long term D partner for Drysdale. I think they target him this offseason, they also see what our defensive coach has improved our D core. Jones has said they want to build this team from the D out.

just because of the injury uncertainty, would play higher up if he’s playing i just didn’t want to project him playing

would genuinely be a bad partner for drysdale, he is lost on defence

yeah were not getting back what we paid but we’re getting a debrincat 2.0 return

I think they do way better on the Chychrun deal tbh. Debrincat had a lot of leverage because he was an RFA with no contract. They could really only deal with teams he'd extend with. Chychrun having one year left will bring in a wider range of teams, including teams who think they can extend him and teams willing to risk leaving him unsigned.

He's not that great. I dont think you get as good as you paid for him. But you should expect a reasonable return.
