Description

Most minny fans want him to stay but the Boomers in that org dont seem to like him.

Xhekaj can be replaced with Harris, Struble or Engstrom. Matheson could also be an option but i think the cap relief itself would help the Wild

What is the point of this for the Habs. Boldy is good yes - we need forwards we have 8 zillion d prospects

Why is there so much Boldy trades? Are there really reports out there saying that they might trade him because of what you mentionned?

Some whacked Minny fan posted on X why they need to trade him and a bunch of cothers ommented and agreed. It would be like those whacked Habs fans that keep trying to trade Caufield.

If for some crazy reason he was made available, it would take a package of something like the Habs 1st (top 2 protected) + Mesar or Beck + Barron.

Still doesn’t make sense. Minnesota would be hoping that player turns into a Boldy type in 2-3 years. If Boldy goes, it’s for an upgrade at a position of need.

I was talking strictly about the value of the package not considering need right now. My point was it would take our 2024 1st + two top prospects

When you trade a player of that calibre, you get a package of assets. Not a singular asset that may become as good as them. Wild also dont have the money to upgrade, Still nearly 15m on Parise and Suter

As a Wild fan, the opinions of the handful of "whacked Minny fans" (assuming they are actual Wild fans...which seems highly unlikely) are just that, whack. Boldy ain't going nowhere. See this post comparing Boldy vs. Caufield to hopefully give you a better idea as to just how good Boldy is and why he's untouchable.
