Yotes aren't your dumping ground. Send them to Detroit for that.

The reported cost to move Campbell’s contract a few months ago was minimum 2 1sts round picks - & that’s when the Oilers were struggling to the pick would be higher.

So your proposal would basically be Edmonton trading Broberg, the 25’ 1st, and the 24’ 2nd just to move Campbell’s contract (might be a bit low but in the realm of possibility). So what value is Pittsburgh getting for Jarry here? He’s still probably a top 15-20 goalie and with how much goalies are in demand he’d command a pretty decent return.

This doesn’t make sense for Pittsburgh to consider.

oilers would likely not do this trade. Skinner and jarry are pretty similar statistically and i See skinner with a higher ceiling. so its not really improving the oilers while adding more in cap and giving away assets.
The oilers simply buy out campbell it is a very frendly buy out. get an affordable back up and use those picks to add at deadline next year for another run.

PIT will gladly give you advice on how to properly threaten relocation for a 1st overall pick, next time a generational one comes around.

Why punish Detroit they actually pay their bills. Face it Arizona will be a dumping ground until they get moved to Utah or Quebec.

No they don't. Edmonton doesn't want a $5M backup, so they won't be moving their best non-roster trade pieces for one.

Skinner is their starter, Campbell will be bought out.

Pretty sure Pittsburgh is on McCann's no trade list. Even if not Seattle's not moving him.
