Toronto does not. Value is probably fine. But Lilly and a 1st for provorov and a 2nd is the furthest thing from what the leafs need to accomplish.

Maybe they need a guy like him in the lineup, he might show the young guys a good work ethic. Can't see him not having the ducks on his no trade list.

I agree, but humor me for a second. Lilly is getting on average 19:40 per night, mostly on the 2nd pair, with a significant proportion of OZ starts. Provorov averages 22:07, entirely on the 2nd pair (behind Werenski), with a significant proportion of DZ starts.

I know trading one of the few true NHL RD on the roster isn't a great idea, but it's no secret Keefe doesn't really trust Lilly. Doesn't it make sense to make a move for a more trustworthy D-man at the cost of around 32 draft spots deferred a year? Especially if you're singing Tanev anyway?
