the penguins aren't taking back Reaves.

If that's the return on Smith the penguins will keep him till TDL.
They won't be retaining that's for sure.

Why wouldn’t Toronto just keep the 3 players that are very useful to them and know team and just sign Roy in the off-season? Not much of a difference in Gavrikov and McCabe to justify this

Yea would rather just keep those 3

Also Those 3 combined are cheaper

1.35+2m+2.1m = 5.45m Gavrikov costs 5.875m

So where's the saving lul

5.875m with 1.875m retained =4m since you either cant read or don't know how to do math. "lul"

A vast majority of trades on here ship out Jarnkrok and Reaves for cap space. So figured you guys didnt want them.

Didnt see ret my bad

But in the end still no

McCabe's been a beast at 2m and fans love him

TOR can afford Roy anyway even with those 3 so no real need to do it

I don't see the Caps parting with Lindgren or Alexeyev for the given price, Stevenson hasn't proven himself as a capable replacement for Lindgren yet and Alexeyev has been good in his 3D spot, so the Caps would need to find competent replacements for both before they would consider this.

Alexyev has been playing very well since Edmundson was shipped out, giving him full time minutes. Lindgren is the caps starter. There’s just not enough value here for the caps to make a move like this.

Yeah no chance pens make that trade. Swap the 4th to a 1st and maybe they listen.
I'd love to hear why the pens would give up a top 6 winger, with half retention, for a cap dump, an ahl forward, and a 4th.

Now that is a hell of an offer for the blues

Idk if they do that but I think they’d be hard pressed to say no

I'll take offers the Kings aren't making for 800, Alex. But if you really feel like giving away Gavrikov as charity, please give the Blues a call first. They'd even let you keep your 3rd.

Would really hate getting rid of Parayko.. but this is an offer I'm not sure we could pass up

Take notes Leafs fans. This is what a true Parayko package looks like
