Preds decline. Kotkaniemi isn't worth his contract, and NSH has multiple better and cheaper depth centers.

Staal isn't going anywhere, has a no movement clause, and despite what some will yell, still produces at least up to his contract value.

Love Teuvo, but he's not coming back at that number. I think it's a long shot for him to be back unless he take a sizable home-town discount.

I do think they look to move on from KK. The return isn't the reward, it's the cap space they need to reallocate to the top 6 forwards or top 4 D. Just can't have 4.8 sitting in the bottom 6. It's not about the player at this point, it's about the contract.

Your Necas/Jarvis deals are in the right ballpark in my opinion but I hope you're a little high on them both would like to knock off 500K from each #. I do think Jarvis will be a bridge if only to extend their current window for 2 more years before they go into a more sizable roster reconstruction.

Canes decline the Nashville trade. A 3rd ain't enough for KK.

Otherwise, the trades are okay. For contracts, Too high on Necas, too high on Teuvo, too high on Carrier, too high on Drury, too high on Jost, too high on Sprong.

Kings accept.

Kaliyev will get traded at the draft/offseason. Hoping he can at least get a 3rd this year back if not a 4th 🤞🏻

This wouldn't surprise me, but I also wouldn't be stunned if a team with plenty of space gave up something for a 6'2", 23 year old NHL center. Not a lot because of the contract, but it just takes one GM to think they can build him up.

As you like to mention p/60 you think a guy like sprong who scores at over 3-3.5 p/60 the last 2 seasons is not worth 4yrs 3.5 as hes always a top performer on any team hes played on with all different minutes wetheres its 1rst or 4th line
