Fabbri makes no sense for Toronto unless they think he can get back to being a full time centre and I think that ship has sailed. He isn’t much different than Robertson and frankly Robertson has shown improvement and is probably a better player

Better investments to be made than 5.75M for 3 years of Adam Henrique at 35 years old

Detroit passes, We should get at least a 5th or 6th round pick for Robby Fabbri at full value.5th and 6th means nothing to us Jarnkrok wanted out of Detroit. not sure how many times we need to repeat ourselves. And Abruzzese is nothing special.

Detroit would be moving Fabbri for cap space and with this deal they end up with more than they started with.

Awfully nice of Detroit to give you a solid player at half retention and take Jarnkrok's cap with absolutely no incentive.

Wings pass, not even remotely close. Not sure of the obsession leaf fans have with sending Calle to wings. He left for a reason and he doesn't wanna come back and wings don't want him back, it's such an illogical trade

Pointless trade for Detroit.

The only reason for trading Fabbri is to get rid of his 4 mil.

If they're retaining half there's no point.

Why are Leafs fans obsessed with sending Detroit draftee's to Detroit?
They didn't want to be here then, and probably not now.

Kinda crazy to overpay Henqurie 5.75, Heck the traded Timmins, Jarnkrok and Kampf make just 5.6m. Gee you're over the cap with a 20 man roster.

Solid player? No incentive?

Robertson is better and worth more than Fabbri alone.

What does Robertson have to do with it?

The fact that Toronto already has a similar player to Fabbri but one that’s younger and better. It doesn’t make sense for Toronto.

& calling Jarnkrok “no incentive” is just not knowing the player

Better player but puts up less points on a team that is pretty much all offense…

Lol, OK. tears of joy

Fabbri > Jarnkrok

Detroit would be essentially paying Jarnkrok 4.1M next season while Toronto gets a better player without two more years to deal with lol.

An AHL player and two nothing picks doesn’t justify that.

Edit* also I was commenting on why Robertson was brought in because it was irrelevant to the Detroit trade.

Fabbri:
0.5 ppg, 12:49TOI, 2:09PPTOI in 62 games

Robertson:
0.47 ppg, 11:21TOI, 0:46PPTOI in 51 games

Wow. Robertson has almost the same points per game but plays less minutes and less power play time. Imagine what would happen if he actually played the same amount as Fabbri does 🤔

Oh and just to help you understand more…

Fabbri:
18G in 62 games for 0.29 goals per game and 5 of them on the PP

Robertson:
12G in 51 games 0.24 goals per game and only 1 of them on the PP

🤔 almost seems like one is producing better just playing less minutes 🤷🏻‍♂️

That’s a whole lot of dancing to explain how the “better player” produces less. 🤣

Ahh yeah. I'm the biased one.

Coming from the guy that made the lengthy post to explain how Robertson was... Still being outproducted by Fabbri. tears of joy

🤦🏻‍♂️

Read comment #18 on this thread again. Learn something about hockey. Then provide a comment.

Robertson plays significantly less offensive minutes and still produces at almost the same rate.. in other words, if they played the same amount of ice time Robertson would produce more points than Fabbri. It’s not rocket science kid.

The easiest way to put this for you:
Fabbri has a points per 60 minutes of 2.3.
Robertson has a points per 60 minutes of 2.5.

In other words… Robertson out produces Fabbri
