I'm doubting Sens would be on Parayko's trade list. Six full years of 31 year old Parayko?

Because he has full NTC this season and for the next four years.

Sorry but this does not fit the team direction the Sens will be going if they move Brady. It’s gonna be for Nemec or Clarke

The Sens aren’t trading Brady to get 31 year old Parayko and push for a playoff spot. Just not happening

Yeah getting Tkachuk is nice but this destroys our defense so it makes little sense

I agree. It's kinda a silly proposal. Parayko ain't waiving, and there is nothing in for the Sens really.

When I post an AGM like this, it isn't meant to be taken seriously because we aren't trading Brady.

Another example is, "Trading Brady Tkachuk to New Jersey because Mike Rupp said so".

If I had a full NTC and my team wanted to trade me, I would just say, "when you have a trade ready, come back and see me".

Then I would say yes or no to it.

    No trade list necessary.

True, but the trade isn't to Florida, Carolina or Vegas. It's to the Sens. What would be Parayko's motivation?

STL would have to pay for a team to take parayko, his defensive metrics are worst than chabots, easy pass on his.

He's a Canadian that gets to play in his nation's capital.

He's from Western Canada, and you know how those folks think of Ottawa. Not necessarily the city but the "LIberal" enviroment.grin

Parayko is THE example for why defensive metrics doesn't tell the entire story. Parayko has been playing some of the toughest defensive minutes in the entire NHL which are deflating his numbers (Dom from the Athletic had a list a short while ago where he was 5th overall). Playing with Leddy doesn't help him either. To be honest: Parayko had a bad season last year (lingering back problems?), this year however he's been really good again. Together with Thomas he's probably the only 'untouchable' player (for whatever that means). We're not in a position to trade him, so I'm totally happy to keep him.

    And... ?

He's happy where he is, has made that abundantly clear time and again.

As for your proposal, I correctly assumed it wasn't serious, as Strickland said nothing of the sort.

that is all a load of pure BS, numbers don't lie, ah poor parayko playing "hard" minutes well so are the other top Dmen in the league like Hedman, Makar, Fox, Hughes, Doughty etc. etc. and their metrics don't suck, hell Zub blows parayko out the water

No reason to behave like an ass.

But in all seriousness, you're entitled to your opinion. Ask any Blues fan who watches Parayko on a nightly basis what they think of him. Let's just say we're more than happy to keep him.
