Stats don’t equal readiness for the NHL level, especially when their strengths and potential impact lie in 200ft games.

Seider is in over his head, he is required to be the main defensive presence on a team with Petry, Holl, Chiarot. He is responsible for taking on Matthews/Barkov/Pasta/Kuch on a nightly basis and still provides some offense. To say he is a number 4 is laughable.

I mean seriously, multiple times a day it is mentioned that the Hawks are loaded with young LHD prospects and still there is an endless stream of fans trying to acquire assets from Chicago for their aging, overpaid and underperforming LHD.

Will Davidson accept your aging, overpaid LHD… probably but teams will have to send significant draft capital WITH said player(s) and expect nothing but FC in return.
