No room for Brannstrom on left side. Hawks decline.

Forsberg really doesn't interest the Flyers

Edmonton won't be high bidder on Chychrun. They are looking for a top-4 RHD upgrade, not another LHD.

CHI wouldn't have much interest in Brannstrom, if any, and they almost certainly wouldn't pay a 3rd for him. There might be a team that'll take a flyer on him for a 3rd, though.

that dont get chych

too much for knight, a 4th or 5th rounder is enough for knight if a team wants to gamble on him

easy pass on Norris trade, not trading him for pennies on the dollar

Calgary declines. Josh Norris has negative value because he can't stay healthy. Taking on that contract would be a huge risk that's extremely unlikely to pay off. We could get at least a late 1st for Backlund with retention from other teams.

Yeah. If you told me this about Norris a couple years ago, I would've said you were crazy. But I couldn't agree more, now. It would be a huge risk for any team to take on his contract without making OTT pay for it. If they believed he was a positive asset, they wouldn't consider moving his contract.

Hell would likely have to freeze over for Ceci to put on a Sens jersey again, Ottawa should look for more from a Chychrun trade anyway

Knight shouldnt cost that much considering lorida paid him 4m to play in the minors this year and his numbers werent even that great down there

Not sure if anyone would gamble on Forsberg given the year it was for goaltending in Ottawa

Likely the right price on Brannstrom but the wrong team

Value aside on the Norris trade, dont think Ottawa would be targeting Backlund. Likely not the type of player theyre looking to add.

Well to be fair if they believed he was a positive asset but didnt believe that he could stay healthy for any extended period of time then they definitely consider moving him out. With that said I dont think he moves for the exact reason you stated. He's a gamble and teams wont want to pay anything that would entice Ottawa so theyre likely stuck with him. Hope he can turn his health around.

Flames tell you to get stuffed. Backlund isn’t going anywhere let alone retaining on him, giving up the higher pick and getting back a player who has a lot of questions about him and a bad contract. Backlund is preforming better this year and is PK and PP not to mention the leader of our team. Norris capitalized off a very stupid GM and is so overpaid

If they think he can't stay healthy long enough to be a difference maker, and if you consider his contract, that would pretty much make him a negative asset. And if they think he can stay healthy and think it is just a fluke injury, they wouldn't have a reason to consider moving him. So, you are essentially saying you disagree with me, but then saying the exact same thing back to me. haha. I agree with you. I guess I could've expanded more, though, so that my point would've been clearer.
