Krug is probably to help balance the cap numbers; but this deal is missing a 1st & Buchnevich and/or Snuggerud

Krug isn't waiving for Sens. Forget the inclusion of Chychrun. Tkachuk for Kyrou and Hofer has seems more reasonable....though Ottawa fans won't like it.

At this point, I think Thomas is the only guy that can get this trade done if the Blues really want Tkachuk. I mention Norris because if the Blues want to get a top 6 center back, they could opt for Norris or Pinto (IMO, if I'm the Blues, I ask for Pinto). But one of them four quarters = a dollar trades isn't going to work with Ottawa... they got Tkachuk pretty long term, so it's gonna have to be an asset of near equal value, and Thomas is the one guy that fits the description.

Thomas is worth more than him, IMO, but it depends how much the Blues want him.

Thomas is worth considerably more. And they're like brothers, trading them for each other would just mean both teams get a pissed off new player. The Blues would NEVER trade Thomas to get a Tkachuk - the whole point would be to play them together.

Besides, the Blues are not going to crazy splurge on Brady, let alone right now. If Brady ever shows up it will be because he asked out, if not specifically asked out to STL. In either case, your asking price is going to require some tempering.

Norris is a hard no thank you. You're right, Pinto would be preferable, but this is not a need because Thomas is not going anywhere.
