VAN should definitely not accept that.

Devils likely say no. They probably try for Ullmark or Gustavsson.

It's not the worst idea, but the Bruins decline. I like Brock Nelson as a player, but he will be a pending UFA and 33 years old by the time he gets into a game for them. I'd rather they keep Zacha and wait for the right fit at C than spend what few assets they have on a band-aid solution

You should use the 24-25 template. Either way, there's nonchance Utah even considers that. Lordy.

Why would any team not named Isles accept these deals?

I know I am being idealistic, but outside of the Hoglander deals most of these could be tweaked in some way. I am standing on the Utah deal, they have a lot of money and if the Isles eat some money Lee could be a great veteran presence for a team trying to level up, they probably would need to take the prospect out though.

Hoglander isn’t available. With their current cap crunch, the Canucks are going to rely heavily on him to be a top 6 producer next year at an insanely cheap cap hit. Trading him for a much older player who we can’t afford doesn’t make any sense at all.

Bratt is pretty much untouchable. Stupidly good and still massively underrated. Devils MVP last season.
