Minnesota keeps their picks they need to upgrade their offence not their defence. 13OA they definitely aim to get a Center or a winger with size.

No one is paying positive assets for Dvorak unless he is retained then you might get a 4th.

Anaheim trade doesn’t work because Minnesota says no.

Anderson contract is arguably worse then Dubois so doubt LA says yes. If Dubois+ is moved it’s for a starter goalie not a **** 4th liner who doesn’t have the speed he once relied on and a prospect who has a 50/50 chance of turning out

PLD ... If you were frustrated with Anderson, just wait until PLD does in Montreal what he did down the stretch and in the playoffs this season.

He had a chance to rehab his image in LA during these playoffs and he just failed so completely.

No Deal!

Bergevin is in LA, so you can think he might still be working for Habs.

If the Habs win second overall they take Demidov and don't bother with the rest of this

There is no universe where the Wild give up #13 overall for that. Guerin made it clear he's happy with their defense if it can remain healthy, rumors are they're in the market for a top 6 LW and that's about it. They'll keep their pick unless they use it to trade up, like packaging it with Gus to get NJ's pick or something.

Well.... Anderson is done within 3 seasons at 5M$/year, PLD still as 7 to go at 8.5M$/year... While PLD as a better point production, we're talking about 40pts last season and 1 goal in the playoffs. I don't see LAK retaining any salary on a deal like this, but the statement that Anderson's contract is worse, I'd pass on that since he's 3.5M$ less and done in 3.. Still has potential, but will mostly likely be a third/fourth liner for the next three if he doesn't get his sh*t together.

Same could be said for PLD.. Mtl would be taking one h*ll of a gamble for a trade like this to happen. I'd finish off Anderson's contract before I'd take on PLD's and provide picks for him. It's clear that LAK are not happy with him and his play, especially after giving him the big contract he wanted that with a NMC starting 2024-25 which means if they move him, it'll be during the summer else they'll have to negotiate with his future team and him before they can move him out. Habs take another risk there..

IF .. And I say IF.. LAK move him out, they'll probably have to pay because of the weight of the contract and performance issue he had. I'm thinking they'll keep him rather than pay to move him.
