You can have Colton Dach for WPGs first. That’s the only realistic piece that would motivate the hawks to do it.

This isn't close honestly. Dvorak is a cap dump, you need to pay to move him, so let's assume the 3rd rounder. Even if Kovacevic was a little interesting to the Hawks, he's a 1 year rental so that does nothing for the rebuild; not a chance move a valuable prospect for 1 year. Dach was a 2nd round pick and has done nothing but elevate his status. He will take a late 1st to get the Hawks to move him.

If he didn’t have injury concerns, I would think of Dach as a big part of our prospect pool. I agree that a first is the “buyout” of a player of his potential/progression.
