no one is in on Yakupov 2.0. The Rangers are stuck with that mess. Penguins sure as hell aren't giving up Bunting for him.

Chinakhov's last year has been the exact polar opposite of that of a "young guy who's struggled". Easy, immediate "no" from the Jackets.

Can't see Detroit wanting to take on Rakell's contract, let alone paying for it.

A rebuild needed to happen way back when Rutherford was talking about a rebuild lol.

Detroit don’t want Rakell. Thanks.

Moving Smith and Rakell is going to cost PIT. You're certainly not going to get anything in return for them, so best case scenario is "FC".

👌🏼

He works for NYR so I’d be glad not to have 31 teams after him. NYR record with vs without him in the lineup is wild, NYR need the cheap RW. You guys keep bunting and nothing picks and everyone is happy 😎

and I'm saying no one is in on Yakupov 2.0.
2OA for what. He's a yakupov/Puljujärvi in plain sight. Any ranger fan still holding out on that is delusional.

I mean he had a 40 point season last year in his 22yo season on the third line, limited PP time, and was healthy. This year he wasn't healthy, and his two way game improved drastically. He's a very good bottom six player who still has potential. See how he does on a line with Malkin or Crosby. Not Goodrow and Brodzinski.

I don't think anyone spends a 2OA on a bottom 6. You could say the same for Puljujärvi as being a decent 4th liner.... wtf cares. No one trades for that.

Why would the Rangers trade a defensively sound winger on a good salary with some offensive upside for a much older journeyman winger with not much better production plus adding picks. Makes zero sense for them.

PIT don't want no futures!

They're very satisfied with one notable U25er in the organization while not making playoffs!
