1 year of marner isn't worth that. Hope the hawks stay far away from any marner deals

Values here are pretty wild and off. I don't see cause to trade Binnington and certainly not Parayko, but that said they wouldn't be worth that package.

Ok I’m kidding but he was definitely rushed to the NHL. Too bad he couldn’t play in the AHL this year

Agreed. There was no real reason for him to spend the whole season in the NHL. Hopefully he figures things out next season

haha. I know, and I couldn't agree more. I told everyone last summer, bringing him up now would be rushing him. It's a weird grey area, though. Because, yeah, he was too good to go back, especially to such a depleted Seattle roster, but not ready for the NHL. Rockford definitely would've been the best place for him, if it was allowed.

The league is hard on 19 year old Dmen and it was really tough on Korchinski , not to mention he wasn’t surrounded by a very good team.

I hope they change this rule for D+2 , it’s stupid. There should be like exceptional status for players to skip their D+2 in the CHL

And he lost his father right at the beginning of the season, and CHI was severely depleted by injuries from a roster that was already sub-par to begin with. Not the best situation to be in. With all that said, the kid kept his spirits up and showed improvements in some areas. Still a lot of work to be done, but I'm proud of him.

Yeah. So dumb. I get that CHL teams need to ice a competitive roster and make money or whatever too. But the kids should have say in where they go. Especially once they are drafted and under a professional contract.

Can't be said enough. It was not an ideal situation at all but he got through it. A lot of guys his age and in that situation wouldn't have made it. I hope he gets some time in the AHL this year, even if its just to give him a break from the pressure of the NHL. It helped guys like Reichel and Kaiser last season. Both looked much better after playing in Rockford for awhile.
