Lol I wouldn't be against the sharks thinking of Kuzy as an option but I wouldn't exactly think of him as a leader/mentor

I'm sure you wouldn't mind this, but CHI isn't buying Orlov. Why not just let Skjei go, let Orlov play out his deal, and then be ready for Nikishin to sign next summer?

No thanks on Orlov. Chicago doesn't need another LD.

Exactly this. This is what the canes FO planned to do last summer when they knew reasonably well Skjei would be too expensive to extend (he wouldn’t sign the deal offered here). Idk why some fans are trying to turnover even more D than we already have to this offseason..

Skjei isn’t signing that. Don’t move Orlov. Don’t need to spend that much on Dillon. FO has a plan and it’s not that hard to follow for LDs at least.

Highly doubt Poitras is moved. Skjei walks for more money elsewhere and we just keep Orlov. Also if Burns and KK are playing at the bottom of the lineup, they should be moved for cheaper options, KK especially. Use that money to get a better LW than Teravainen and a 2C since Boston doesn’t take that.
