To free up a roster spot for a little bit, can I send Gustav Olofsson to the AHL on a two-week conditioning stint? He will remain there until Oct. 31.

You have to send him through waivers, if he is not waiver exempt. If he is waiver exempt, then you can send him down and call him up at will.

A conditioning assignment bypasses waivers. However, if I'm not mistaken, it can only be done once per season.

Is he actually in need of conditioning?

Sort of. Conditioning assignments are given to waiver eligible players if they haven't played in a while; Leivo, Corrado, Rattie, and McIlrath all got them last year after sitting out for long period of time. Olofsson might be getting more time than I expected now (no thanks to injuries), but he'll get just like 5 minutes a night on 4RW; hardly ideal.

AK_Tune has accepted a position of Assistant General Manager of the St. Louis Blues Hockey Club. Dwight will remain Assistant to the General Manager, and Martin Brodeur will be sacked to make room for a real legend in the front office.

We can later tonight. I would except no more than 1 year x 2,000,000 AAV and no less than 1 year x 1,000,000 AAV.

Thats the most I can help you in terms of salary cap figures for the time being.

Also, can we make claims on players that the teams who haven't done their waivers sent down? For example, Washington sent down Tyler Graovac, Christian Djoos, Nathan Walker and Taylor Chorney, who all need to go through waivers. Even though the teams didn't do the waiver system properly, we should still be able to make claims.

BOE needs to track these teams down and deal with them already. I can count at least 5 teams, if not more, who haven't even bothered to participate in waivers despite being online.

Agreed. It's not right that they can just not follow the rules and have no consequences.

Sorry guys. But for personal reasons, I must retire, effective immediately.

EDIT: Scratch this. I'll take some time off until Nov. 1, and at that point, I'll revisit if I am available to continue playing.

Punishments are still being thought about.

We also have to determine if it is necessary to punish those who are simply inactive. If they aren't ever coming back, no punishment will be handed out.
