I don't think that he has been able to demonstrate his ability to play night in night out like other players in that tier have (Nylander, Marner, Aho, etc.)

if you have Aho, Rantenen and Marner in their you should include Keller. He has contributed t0 35% of Arizonas goals this season. By far the most impressive out of the 4

I am not basing my rankings off of this season alone. The most impressive out of the four is Marner, who had 60 + points last season.

Simply put, I am unwillingly to entertain placing a player who has played less than 20 games into a tier with Marner, Aho, Nylander, etc.

I am extremely high on Clayton Keller, and I believe he was one of my predicted players to win the calder some threads back (I don't think I decisively said him, but he was a "top-3" or something like that). He just needs to prove it. Less than 20 games is too low of a sample size for me to place him with Marner and Nylander.

I would also say compartmentalize as well with forwards and D (and even goalies) because D generally won't score points as easily as forwards, especially young D who are trying to learn NHL D against grown men and be defensively responsible out there first. For this reason guys like McAvoy and Ekblad and Provorov should be much higher. Partly why I always critique people on here just focusing on offensive stats only. Offense could win you an Art Ross, but if you are not sound defensively, you will never capture the Holy Grail!!
