Fairish TDL Deals
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>F50marco</b></div><div>Sorry man but TB and WPG would be crazy to trade young assets like Connor and Sergachev for immediate upgrades. Those guys aren't "prospects" anymore. They are full fledged roster players. They take 1 step forward to take 2 steps back right after. It makes no sense.</div></div>
With the amount of young talent WPG has I feel like they’d be fine. TBL has good prospects plus Mac is still young playing top 2

I know. This is more like what the next week could be like. I didnt mean for all of these trades to happen. Maybe one or two

A 25+ Goal scoring, speedy, penalty killing forward for two decent prospects and a 3rd? Try at least a 2nd to start out. Most likely a first with the amount of teams intrested

I think you may have to add in another couple of first round picks. Plus I highly doubt either team does this type of insane trade

Not too bad. I said this on another post as well. You dont want to give up Miller over Hayes. Miller has more potential and is the overall better player.

New York Rangers GM “We’re rebuilding!”
Your Logic as the New York Rangers GM “Lets throw out or 1st and 3rd in possibly the best draft in the past 5 years”
The Rangers would never trade their first rounder. Not for a few years at least.

Nash doesn’t fit our cap situation unless 50% is retained, and you take a current roster player back because we still have to sign Fisher. Just don’t see it working for Nash but I could be wrong.</div></div>
I wonder if we take a big contract from you or give you another young asset that it would make this work. Maybe its Nash and a 2nd (50% retained) for a big contract up within a year and tolvanen

I think the majority of these trades work. Other than the Nash trade. Tovalen might be harder to get but its not far fetched

What in the world is that Tavares deal? Bergevin would look crazy. 14.5 for 8 years for a 10m player

^ what he said. Maybe you go for Raanta as a backup. Most of the kids will probably come up next year. Chytil and Graves are playing well and staal/holden leaving means Graves has a shot at a spot. DD leaving gives Chytil a spot

Never trade a top defenseman. No way this happens for the Rangers. Plus Montreal needs Max for scoring. Their offense is hurting

Nash isn’t worth a 1st neither is Grabner. Their old players that are streaky. Nash could go for a 2nd maybe. Grabner has a better chance at a 1st imo.

Minor Rebuild
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>clark</b></div><div>"I think overall this works out. Definitely realistic." ??????. paying your top winger zuccarello so little. mcdonaugh will want and deserve money and term. depending on komarlov to be good is a real expensive dream. and to depend on those first rounders to make the team immediately is questionable.</div></div>
1st. I figured Zucc would dip in production and still be on the team for leadership qualities. So far this season he hasn't been great.
2nd. Mcdonah hasn't been great this season either. Just like Zucc he's older so he may only get a slight raise. To say he should make over 6.5 is kinda ridiculous.
3rd. This years draft is stacked and who knows about the next year. If they have rebuild years (which what I was getting at is they are around last in the standings) they'll get more developed, better players

They will probably regret it. Juulsen doesn't work. You need a 2nd pair defenseman under 24. He's not a sure thing yet.

Wow this is the first post were someone actually offers what Sakic wants. Young under, 24 2nd pair defenseman and a good prospect. I think you add another piece and this works. Sadly that's way too much but if you want Duchene than that's what gets you him

I comment this too much on Duchene posts. You need a top 4 defenseman under 24, a 1st round pick, 1st round prospect to start with Skaic. Also John Tavares is not leaving New York.
