Why would Doan sign anywhere but ARI? For the crap salary you offered? GOOD WORK! Stick to tee ball and learning how to write in cursive.

/shrug. I still think C's need to win FO's. Wild already have a undersized centre in Granlund. Spooner isn't really of interest to me other than his salary. That being said haven't seen enough of him to get a good eye test.
Spooner probably wouldn't be a target of the Wild as a primary trade option for one of our D. He's an option, yes.</i></div></div>Spooner is like Jeff Skinner at C. They both go 10-2 and gain speed while doing so. Spooner has a lesser shot than Skinner, but is a better passer. He's probally one of the top 30 best values in the league at 950k.

It's all he's earned so far. He has the potential to be worth much more. Hence the bridge contract.
Dumba's contract options are a Nino type bridge $2.7mx3, or a Brodin type $4mx6. He's not worth Barrie $6mx6 right now, if he wants that then the a bridge contract makes sense. Yeah, Spooner + 1st is a good package for Dumba. Anything more and you're moving in the "not worth it," territory.</i></div></div>I'd rather have Brodin for that.

When we say Dumba sucks (work in progress), we are comparing him to Spurgeon/Suter/Brodin/Scandella. But we also see glimpses what he can be. He's not worth more that a $3m bridge contract right now. A lot of confidence in a kid (who hasn't signed here) and hasn't played an NHL game yet. I like Vesey too, but let's hold off on those types expectations for him. Marchand just put up 37. He's good for at least 25-30+ goals a year. I don't understand why people are so willing to move the only guy on the team that can score. Marchand is an untouchable.</i></div></div>He put up an inflated total. He scored the most luck goals hes ever had in a season, then add in the 5 empty net goals and you have a lot of casual fans believeing hes better than he actually is. He's totally tradeable and especially so if he wants more than Bergeron. Burgy is the Alpha of that line while Marchy is a complimentary player teams don't plan for.

Kelly is a great leader in the Bruins locker room, and is still a very serviceable penalty killer. And Colorado is in a bind, teams no that they want to try and move him. The only thing I'd say to that is move the B's pick this year at 14 instead if SJ's at 29. They get a shut down D (which they are heavily lacking) in K.Miller and a 3rd liner in Hayes.</i></div></div> Kevin Miller being called a shutdown D was priceless. Also you would be a worse GM than Sweeny because neither Col or Min would ever accept your call again after these insults. In two weeks you'd probally alienate us to the entire league.
