Very well done. I think your contract numbers are all in the ballpark.
I personally wouldn't want to give that contract to Grabner. Is he really that much of an upgrade on Panik? Coyotes desperately need goal scoring though, so I get the idea. But I'd prefer they throw that cash at a guy that can play center like Statsny, Bozak, etc. Or maybe a shorter, cheaper contract to a guy like Vanek.

ARZ trade, Summer 2018 [Nylander/OEL base]
Including Domi and Dvorak doesn't make sense from a Coyotes POV. Coyotes are focused on re-signing OEL. If OEL refuses to re-sign, but says he'd sign in Toronto, I could see a trade. Coyotes would look to retain 50% on OEL's remaining year.

Dalhin
That OEL trade is awful! Why would they trade OEL to a Western Conference team, especially if the winning bid is so poor? Edmonton would easily outbid that offer. So would basically every team in the East. I don't know if you're just buying into the Dreger clickbait, but it should be obvious that OEL would cost more. If he doesn't re-sign on July 1st, they'll ask him where he would re-sign an 8 year and shop him to those teams with 50% retention in 18/19 to help them get to the cap floor and get extra assets in return. It is in OEL's best interest to sign an 8 year on July 1, 2018 rather than a 7 year on July 1, 2019. If the Coyotes are forced to trade him, they will help facilitate and maximize assets returned.
Also, you misspelled Dahlin (twice) so get that corrected before you buy a jersey.

They won't re-sign Schenn and that's too much for a 7th D.
Raanta will get at least $1M more per season.
That's way more than the Coyotes would offer Statsny and I can't see them making an offer to Hamhuis.
It's ridiculous to think the Coyotes would pay JVR that kind of money when they already have too many left-handed wingers on ELCs.
To that point -where is Max Domi?
I know you're doing all the teams, but you should take team needs into consideration when you're doing these. Otherwise you might as well just do a randomize program.

Bringing Domi to a Winner
Related side question: Who has the edge - Nick Merkley or Daniel Sprong? Don't forget about their contract status.
Coyotes don't have many slots open next year for either NHL or AHL roster, so at this point, they're looking to be the one's trading the quantity.

You're undervaluing OEL at this point. He only gets traded with an extension and probably 50% retention on 18/19. That's worth a ton.
It's a moot point, because he's likely re-signing anyways.

Trade values are way off the mark. Unless that EDM 1st is Dahlin, that package doesn't get you OEL alone.

Wow.
Coyotes FO sounds confident they will get Raanta locked up, which is why they didn't move him at the trade deadline. Even if something goes very wrong with the negotiations, AZ wouldn't take Greiss. If that happens, I'd look for a trade between WSH and AZ, with Orpik as the dump and Grubauer/Kuemper as the tandem.

OEL?
It's hard to imagine the Coyotes trading OEL and all signs point to him re-signing on July 1st.
To trade him to Edmonton, the following three very unlikely things would have to happen:
1) Coyotes win 1st overall
2) OEL refuses to re-sign on July 1st
3) OEL agrees to sign extension with EDM and Coyotes trade him within conference to the Oilers
On the off chance the first 2 happen, the 3rd one seems pretty unlikely unless it's an overpay that no Eastern Conference team is willing to beat.

How did they acquire the RFAs that you have signing?
Why does St. Louis make that trade?
Without some explanation, this doesn't make any sense.

No to both trades, but the concept seems okay. The Grabner and Chiasson signings are interesting.
Martinook is worth more than that to the team.
Even dumping Panik and Bolland's contract, Ryan's contract is just too expensive to the Coyotes. The sweetener coming with Ryan would have to be extremely appealing to make it worthwhile.

But what do you mean the Coyotes are broke? Are the working on a forced interior cap maximum? Since right now they have the most cap space in the NHL.</div></div>
I think they operated on a 56M internal budget this year. The cap floor will be between 58 and 60M next year. They might take on some fake money contracts to keep the budget low for one more year, especially if it's worth their while. Ownership has to be focused on getting a new stadium before they can spend money on the roster. Two more ELCs (Strome + ?) keeps the on-ice budget low. But they also need to start winning soon.

Hjalmarsson with retention won't come that cheap. Coyotes want to keep him and could get at least a 2nd and prospect at next year's deadline. You would have to make an offer that would pry him out of AZ.

Not enough to get Hammer, especially with retention through next year. Is Sprong more valuable than Merkley? Coyotes didn't think so at the draft table and probably don't think so today.
Pens should inquire about Connauton or Schenn - much more affordable depth.

Tavares and Carlsson are not coming to AZ. The team is broke. Unless you know something about some new rich guys joining the ownership group...
You're significantly underpaying Domi and Raanta. And I don't know what's going on with that Franson contract. After he got waived and sent down, I assumed he'd be lucky to get another NHL contract at or around league minimum.

Capitals want defense. Offer defensive prospects and a change of leadership.
I've watched Hjalmarsson and he's been an excellent addition. The fact that he was injured (along with Raanta) at the start of the year is what sunk the Coyotes' season. His pairing with Chychrun has really elevated Jakob's game, which is in the Yotes' long term best interest.
The proposed Orpik trade doesn't address the Coyotes needs at all. Tell me where you would slot Orpik, Hobbs and Siegenthaller in this list of AZ D-men that will play pro next year:
1) OEL
2) Hjalmarsson
3) Goligoski
4) Chychrun
5) Demers
6) XXX - '18 1st
7) PO Joseph
8) Capobianco
9) Wood
10) Dineen
11) Mermis
12) Mayo
13) Smereck
I have previously proposed a draft day trade of Orpik + WSH '18 1st (~pick 25-31) for '18 MIN 2nd (~pick #50) + Bolland's contract ($1.25M uninsured, can be placed on LTIR for cap ceiling team). That saves Washington around $1.75M in real cash in comparison to buying out Orpik and it only costs dropping 25 picks or so.

Coyotes are broke. They can't afford to buy picks and players via the Orpik trade and retention. $2.75M + 6th + 7th for Lazar + 2nd? Even if we were flush with cash, the juice ain't worth the squeeze.
You're overpaying Connauton by a lot, especially if he gets a two year. I also doubt Richardson gets that kind of money unless he has an incredible final 20 games.
At this point, you also have to figure that one of Crouse, Merkley, or '18 top-5 draft pick is going to be on the opening night roster.

OEL to Edm and a couple more ideas
Why would the Coyotes even consider trading OEL until the draft when they know where they'll pick and OEL can sign an extension with the acquiring team as part of the trade?
Unless they get a significant overpayment, there's really no reason not to be patient for 4 more months.

Thread:
If Orpik gets traded here and they buy him out
There would have to be a motivation for AZ to take on Orpik's contract. I think an offer of Bolland and MIN 2nd (~#50) for Orpik and WSH 1st (~#26-31) is fair. Bolland is owed $1.25M in cash, but he can be put on LTIR. That's less than half what it would cost for WSH to buyout Orpik. The cost to do business is exchanging about 25 picks at the draft. In that case, I imagine AZ keeps and plays Orpik as replacement over Schenn.
