Seattle GM Game
What in the eternal hockey universe makes the Bruins go for a fourth and sixth from Seattle, when they can get a second from Oilers for Haula!??
Haula just proved his value big time and you offer scraps, also at a point when the Bruins need to shore up the left side (Marchand will be on LTIR and DeBrusk may very well be traded).
Stop collecting picks past your abundance and go after some free agency big fish!!!

Me neither at the moment... if he continues to raise his game a notch I believe he should though come trade deadline!

Zboril will be a regular this year baring injuries... he begun to establish himself last year and with injuriers on Gryz and McAvoy, he´ll be an integral part at the start of season and probably beyond.
LTIR Marchy and McAvoy and you find a cushion of 5M!

Creative additions! The Ott and Oil trades are poor for Boston... Haula is worth a lot more and is a hard working/vital/cheap piece for the Bruins who need depth on both wing and center.
Coyle is not sufficient as a regular no. 2 C if they are to have a final shot at the cup!

All deals but Strome are really bad for Boston! Minimum 2 mid second rounders for DeBrusk, but with the injury on Marchy he can´t be traded unless compensated for on LW (or C if they move Haula left). At trade deadline, DeBrusk could fetch a late first!

Okay, yah it´s been a split discussion of sorts lätely between size, grit and speed when it comes to forwards and the B´s haven´t found their balanced mix as of late.

Gotta hand it to you... this is one of the more plausible suggestions this month - doesn´t bring the B´s over the moon, but gives them another outside shot!
Typical Bruins-esque signings and not to optimistic return for sold players.
(With McAvoy and March on LTIR... there´ll also be aprox. 5M cap space too come trade window / play off time!)

You gotta explain your thoughts on this one bud!
This does neither of the various things that (either) must be done; sign quality UFA: s, get hold of picks, slot in youths into the line up, start a rebuild and/or finish last to get hold of a top pick!
...It just means a wasted year for the Bruins as an organisation and every player on the roster! The Jacobs family would not accept the team to be on hold / without direction for a whole season!

You traded for Olofsson and then didn't even sign him or add him to the roster.
You also only have 10 million in cap space with an unsigned Olofsson and over 15 million on LTIR in Marchand and McAvoy, what do you do when they come off LTIR?</div></div>
Wosh... went completely ahead of myself there, not signing in Olofsson - that´ll screw the cap for sure!!!
Need to roll back the Puljujarvi / DeBrusk trade and then trade the latter to "ie. Seattle" for two second rounders instead!?!)
Btw. What salary would you sign Olofsson for???

Awesome ambition on this one and though Malkin to the B´s would surprice close to everyone, it´s cool to not rule it out!
I´d put Haula as LW - Coyle C - Smith RW (and Puljujarvi 2:nd RW)! My gut tells me he´ll grow and do so big time in a B´s uniform!
Also, I´d drop Wagner (down) and promote Beecher!

Agree about the transaction plans, especially keeping DeBrusk til the B´s know more about how the season unfolds.
I assume Steen is a temporary sub for DeBrusk (RW) til Marchy is back - a reach, but definitely interesting to see what he could do in that company.
Not enough spots to test youths though, which has been hinted to be expected from a new coach. Sticking with all three of Nosek, Lazar and Foligno blocks this, when they instead form a solid fifth (fall back) line if they try once more, but that really assumes a high calibre FA. Would like to add a solid C/RW - If Marchy does not 'come back', then we could hold on to DeBrusk and add at RW instead. With Lysell ev. in the mix, we could have a great trio there and could move the new addition to second center and move Haula to LW. Also, if we were to trade Pasta (extended contract), it would be to get hold of a next generation center or a sharp winger. Best option of course goes through NJ (no2 OA, that would yield either a C or LW (Slafkovsky).

Pasta trade is horrible value. Haula trade is a both too low value and a bad move - valuable depth player! Don´t know about the rest in terms of value, but appreciate the idea of Trocheck, Kunin and Vatrano (though is Vatrano responsible enough defensively to play in the B´s system!??). Doubt the Kings want to part with a first for that, but good for the B´s!

Let the Bruins stay in the Playoffs
If you wanna go for it this year, put three of the injured players on LTIR and save 5M in cap space! That way you can keep Forbort (the B´s always need depth) and don´t have to loose two picks that are heavily important for the Bruins in a deep draft!

What exactly guarantees that the Kings will be the team that signs him come an eventual free agency??? (30 other competitors)
