Would do this if Boston could make the cap work
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>jastone</b></div><div>Definitely an interesting trade but I dont see the Bruins doing this because Debricant probably wants 8M a year or something crazy</div></div>
Creative trade with cap issues for the B´s, but can Debrincat play C??? Otherwise it´s a NO from the Bruins!

Bruins Retool
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Victor24</b></div><div>The pecking order for (potentially) available goalies is:
Saros, Hellubuck (w/ extension), Swayman, Jarry, Hellubuck (w/o extension), Ullmark, FAs.
Ullmark has no history of being this good. Maybe he turned a corner? Maybe he was elevated by a great team? The answer today is as reliable as a magic 8 ball. Teams will not trade a 1st for a 30yo with one season of success. Smart teams at least.
I don't know why you think Ullmark is so valuable but I assure you, the numbers don't agree.</div></div>
Sure, the rankings have held Hellebuyck as a star (rightfully so) and Jarry is probably next up, whilst Ullmark was a shadow figure in Buffalo, but he still managed four seasons above 0.915 (up to 0.935) with the Sabres - that´s what got him to Boston and he has kept that up (and more with the B´s present D core).
I don´t see the B´s ever trading Swayman, so count him out of your equation and Ullmark is no.4 according to your ranking - there are a whole lot more than four teams that scream for a legit goalie. He IS worth more - the only thing that can limit his value is teams trying to take advantage of the B´s cap issues.

Bruins Swallow Wallet for another run
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CupChaser</b></div><div>Hahaha the Bruins aren't getting a first round pick for Linus Ullmark..... Receiving Weber's deal and moving him to LTIR while freeing up $16.5 mil in cap space is all the return we need.
I'm all set with the Bruins asking for picks. I would much rather have real proven prospects. Unless we want to load up with more Zach Senyshyn's, our drafting and farm system are dead last in the league for a reason....</div></div>
I get the LTIR thing, which is creative in it´s right, but all four of the players you traded can be off loaded separately and relieve 14M cap - three of them are even really desirable goods that would fetch a good amount of return in either picks, prospects or useful players!
Prospects have the advantage that they are one step ahead to be infused, whilst picks are easy to bargain with!

Bruins Retool
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Victor24</b></div><div>I don't think Pit would trade their 1st for Hellebuyck, they certainly aren't for Ullmark. Swayman + and they would likely listen.</div></div>
Maybe you´re right about Pitsburgh´s intentions, but Hellebuyck is easily worth a first to a lot of teams and Bruins won´t certainly trade Ullmark for a mere first! He´s just backed a team that has crushed all records - he´s worth double that to the right team and the Bruins have to squeeze the maximum return for all prime pieces they have (Ullmark, Gryz and maybe DeBrusk - Hall can probably be had for a second due to his 6M cap though). Many of the B´s top players also have NMC:s, so there is just so many that are trade flexible.

You must have missed out on like three 1st round picks in that trade with Arizona! Zip-a-dee-doo-daa...
The other one is perhaps fair value given the forced cap crunch, but 'meh' in general! The B´s should rather ask for picks!

DeBrusk for picks maybe (on top of the LA-trade above) - and they might be able to keep Hall. DB will need an increase in pay soon - one that we might not afford! Will yield a better return than Hall!

That might actually happen, though both are point-producers, Bertuzzi is a more physical player!

Knowing Sweens, he´s gonna offer Bertuzzi something like 6 x 5.25M tops or 2 yrs at 6,25! Whether or not Bertuzzi accepts this IDK, but I guess it depends on whether Bergy comes back for another real go at it!
On the whole your work with this is not bad though! Forbort before Reilly for sure though!

If Bertuzzi is to resign it must be long term on a typical B´s team friendly deal.
