<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Koskinen_The_Great</b></div><div>Really? Moving to the premium 1st overall only requires a late pick. Jesus. You call me way off. You're off your rocker!

You clearly arent up to date. The Yotes already offered a pick to take Weber's deal at the TDL but the paperwork for LTIR contract was late. The Habs arent paying to give away Weber's deal. It wasnt a discussion, it was done! I wont even get started on your Ghostbear 2 2nd rounders nonsense.

Why do ppl reply that are clueless?</div></div>

I'm usually never wrong in my trade predictions when it comes to the Coyotes. Not the first time people think like this. We'll see what happens, but I guess everyone can be wrong. After all we are not the ones making the calls.

The 1st is and should be a premium. It isn't this year to the same extent. It's close between the top 3 forwards, even if Wright still is the consensus nr. 1. Just look at Bob's rankings. It's also just 2 spots Arizona would be moving up. The price is another 1st. This has also been posted by others on this site, so just not me.

As you said the Weber deal was done. I haven't seen any report that we offered a pick. Feel free to share that. We did acquire Little instead, in which we got an asset and gave up a lesser one. I know the money helps Arizona, but that is only for the first years. It's still for 4 years and no team wants that for so long.

Gostisbehere should cost 2x 3rds to 2x 2nds. Maybe a 2nd and 3rd. He was excellent this season.

If you found my answer harsch, I apologize. That wasn't my intention. On the other hand, I don't know why it is so fun to bash people. We are fans that want to have fun and discuss what we love. No reason to come at someone like this.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>OldNYIfan</b></div><div>Thank you for the kind words.

I think that Arizona is a little more likely to take actual skaters who will play next season rather than futures because they have so few NHL-qualified guys on the roster for 2022-2023 right now. For that reason, I'm pretty sure that neither Turcotte nor Walker is what they're looking for, as you say, but Vilardi and Spence might be sufficient (along with Iafallo). But my real belief is that the Coyotes shouldn't trade Chychrun at all because then they'll be lucky to win 20 games next year without him.

I should have paid a little more attention to the Arizona deal but I was pre-occupied with the Nylander-Petersen idea which, as you can see, wasn't well received by the Maple Leafs folks.</div></div>

Good answer! Appreciate the reasoning. Vilardi and Spence are nice. There's a fit, let's see if and in that case how the GMs solve it. Will be interesting!

I agree that we shouldn't trade him. I thought there was a chance he was staying despite all the rumors, but I listened to the DFO rundown podcast that came out recently with Armstrong as a guest. At the end Seravalli said Chychrun has told management he isn't returning and that the Coyotes are going to try to fix that for him. First time I heard from a good sources he wants out so a trade seems inevitable. It's sad, but I guess we can't have nice things here in Arizona. I hope he goes to a good organization and Los Angeles is that.
