The Rangers have nothing to offer Boston that would come close to the Pastrnak price

If you trade Pastrnak to EDM and don't get Leon back you already lost the deal. massive over payment for Boston

Not enough for Pastrnak. if he goes to EDM Leon would most likely be coming to Boston, which doesn't make a ton of sense for the Bruins.

Boston doesn't need centers, they need wingers on both sides and Pastrnak, a 1st and Spooner. for Leon and Kassian who has had 1 good year of his NHL career. over-payment by Boston.

I would disagree... with Rittich, D. the price is actually very close. Remember how many seats Johnny Hockey will fill not to mention the merchandise sales! Management would say yes! Well Boston MNGT - Flames may say lets sell some more Jerseys then trade him!</div></div>
I dont think there is a GM in the NHL that would hold back a trade to make their team better because it would affect their merchandise sales. I'm sure Pastrnak does just fine in the merchandise sales area for Boston.

Boston definitely matches that, and I would be shocked if Pastrnak entertained signing any offer sheet unless this dragged on to the upcoming season

Bjork is a lock at this point
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>TopCornerShot</b></div><div>I really don't think he's a lock after his performance at the world championship. Exactly half the forwards on the USA roster have yet to have a 40 point season, which is what I'd call an average NHL season and guys like Bjugstad and Larkin were coming off of disappointing years, yet Bjork didn't get a lot of ice time and didn't do much with the time he got. To me that means he's going to be like Vesey was last year, which is like 30ish points, unless he gets a spot in the top 6, if he makes the team. I really don't think he's a lock at all yet, but he does have the highest chance out of Cehlarik, Heinen, DeBrusk and Senyshyn.
I don't like the trade much. Collin Wilson is about as effective as Spooner and Vatrano has the shot of a 40 goal scorer. I wouldn't sell those guys for picks until our younger guys are ready or until we feel they aren't going to make it.
Your 4th line isn't a real 4th line, it's more like a scoring line. To fix that swap Nash with Cehlarik and Beleskey with DeBrusk. DeBrusk could use another part of the year in the AHL anyways and then he could get called up if injuries happen.</div></div>
I disagree about Bjork, I watched him this weekend at development camp and he was far and away the best player on the ice.
Colin Wilson is somebody who can fill that 2LW spot and put up respeectable numbers, and it seems like when the playoffs come around his game is elevated. something I would like to see on this team until these kids are ready.
I think all DeBrusk can beat out Beleskey for the last spot on the left side and if he does spend half the year in providence so be it, I just think his competition is cery weak when training camp comes around, that is if they trade Spooner and Vatrano.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ON3M4N</b></div><div>Sorry but you broke the Krejci/NMC rule and that means you get 1 star</div></div>
Krejci can waive that clause. and on another note if you want a new core you really want to have Jake DeBrusk on that team along with all of the draft picks Sweeney has made.

well I would think Minnesota would want some different playoff experience other than loosing in the first round and I think Krejci brings that, I don't know how Krejci has made it clear that he wants to spend the rest of his carer in Boston? Chara is going to be a stretch because of a few reasons, one being his ties to Boston and another being a team with a role for him to play in. I'mm giving up Vatrano so somebody would take Beleskey
