A change of scenery for Eriksson and Abdelkader
Virtanen will be making more then that on a years deal. He is arbitrary eligible and any reasonable judge will gave him morebthen that. Sam Bennet make more than take and doesn’t have close number. Same case with Gaudette who was on pace for 40 point this year. A Beagle fourth line players making more them him doesnt make much sense

With players beiing send down on break day that relief salary from the cap and can be use for that purpose when they need too use their full line up. Salary cap is calculate on a daily bases if Kucherov miss 4 week due to a injury is 4 week portion of salary doesnt count into is 9,5 millions cap hit. There multiple manipulation that Gm use to work their cap situation.

This could very easily be work out just by sending Cal Foote down a couple of day at the begging ofbthe season and is 9,25 salary would fit just under the cap with the Ahl ajustement. There nothing here that can be fix with a couple of manipulation that GM make all the time

There no such thing as minimum players limit! They could start the season with only 9 forward if they wanted two. Actually New jersey did so a couple year ago playeing with just 11 forward in the first few game.

What are you talking about, this work just fine they have a full roster and would probably send player down to save money on break day and hopefully there someone who will spend time on Ltir at some point and gave them relief but in no case they need 22 players to start the season. They can play with 9 forward and 4 defenseman if they want to there no rule that said team must have 22 players

All those offer doesn’t really are worth it Montreal have plenty of cap space to help some team relief their cap situation but if they do so they will want a much better return then what you are proposing here.

Montreal aren’t in cap hell what are you talking about! They are on of the team with the most cap space to work with in the next 2 season. I fact next season they have almost al their players sign with 18 millions to work with and only a couple of spot to fill on the roster. The only notable rfa they have is Max Domi and i doubt he will make 18 millions next year. But those offer are ****ty as hell if they usebtheir cap space they will use it in a more efficient way

Why would LA gave up all those pick just to move up a couple spot in the second round. Pilut have about no value, he have not much Nhl experience and mostly no success playing in it so at best moving him would land Buffalo a late round pick.

Montreal doesn’t need no more that number one center. They have Suzuki and Kotkaniemi that will be a very good one two punch for year to come and with Danault in the third slot they are more then fine at Center. In the other hand they are extremely thin on the right wing and trading away Gallagher isn’t fixing any problem but creating a bigger one

Yes i do, he have similar number then Scheen in St louis true out is career. Kreider would also be a good start up comparative point. I see Domi at least asking between 6-7 on a long term deal. Coyle just got a 5,25 extension and he haven’t break the 40 point mark regularly.

But he is never healthy. Since is Junior career in 2010-11 he only played 2 full season out of 10. Only played 60 or less games in 7 of those 10 season. Less then 46 games 5 time out of 10. This dude is literally made out or porcelain. He doesn’t have any value. No gm will be spending high draft pick capital for a big question mark players. That have nothing to do with is play or ability but the fact is he can stay healthy so he doesn’t have value. When you go to the market and you buy something you want to make sure it work. Not just one time out of ten.
And if you had fallow a little bit what was going on around hockey you would know that there will be no more conditional pick.

I think Dunn will either get 3 years at 3.5-4 mil or 6-8 years at 5 mil</div></div>
He is not St Louis third best 3 man! Where you get that. Scandela was use even more then him last year. You might like him more but in reality he is the 5th defenseman in depth chart and the fourth if Pietrangelo doesnt resign. 16 min of ice time is not a lot and Defenseman that played not that much don’t get much payed either. Pietrangelo, Parayko, Faulk, and even Scandela seem ahead of him in the depth chart so calm down the 3 best. A defenseman who have only seen 31 min of Pk in 224 game, that haven’t touch the powerplay this year and who is mostly use in offensive start since he doesnt defend extremely well is not that high in the depth chart for a reason

Not terrible, but also without any real value.</div></div>
It was is first year pro and he battle a injury right a the start of the season. Montreal did a really poor use of him he should have been playing in the Ahl all year or at least until he was fully recovered and playing confident Hockey, but still he have shown that he can be a reliable players.

What is that 67th in points argument for? Is that in total points? Because then the argument makes no sense, as players like Pettersson are not even in the league for 5 years.
Last season he was 124th in points per game in the NHL.
Victor Olofsson had 2 points less than Domi but in 16 less games. And I don't hear Buffalo fans yelling around that this makes Olofsson worth the 5th overall pick</div></div>
That a fact that he have been a steady point producer and your are just pissed because your team suck so bad and you are desperately in need of attention. <div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Gordon_Bombay</b></div><div>Who is the top prospect I wonder?
Lindren is one of the weaker backups in the NHL
Poehling is 1 month younger that Mittelstadt and his production is no where near the production of Mittelstadt (who is seen as a bust may many).
Poehling might be a 4th line centre in the NHL (I would not consider that a top prospect)
Poehling
36 AHL games 13 points 0.36 ppg
28 NHL games 5 points 0.18 ppg (3 of those 5 were in his only game in 2018/19)
Mittelstadt
36 AHL games 25 points 0.69 ppg
114 NHL games 39 points 0.34 ppg
This deal is basically Max Domi for the 8th overall pick and thatis a NO</div></div>
The difference between Poehling and Mittelsatd is 17 spot in the draft. Mittelsatd is supposed to be a high end talent, Poehling was drafted to be a third line center and that what he will likely be. Mittelsatd is terrible in all the game aspect, so if he is not scoring at a high pace he is useless, Poehling is a better 2 way players, he can llay PK, good on the forecheck, got physical aspect in is game, he will be a efficient third line players. Every good team have those depth players that fill a big role in their respective team but you aren’t aware of that for sure since its been over 10 years si ce Buffalo had some

In the past 5 year Domi have been the 67 most productive forward around the entired Nhl, he have had a better Ppg avergae then Reinhart. By that time you Marcus Johanssen rank 141 and was not even close to Domi number. In the past 3 season Domi have been at the same spot at 67 so he is a very steady and productive forward.

People doesn’t know nothing about the game around here. Dunn have been use in mostly offensive mission and was the 5th defenseman in St louis. He was use 16 minutes this year and only Gunnarson and Bortuzzo who where alternate where use less then him. I no case with those number he will get near 4 millions. By is use and production he will get something between 2 and 3,5 depending on the term that will go with the deal. Dunn haven’t prove nothing yet, he is a great young players but that stop right there

No this is the trade! You won’t get Domi and a top Prospect for a outside top 10 pick. This gave Buffalo two Nhl ready players and one of them is a proven top 6 center which they most needed. Eichel want to win now not in 4 years and if Buffalo keep missibg the playoff Eichel will walk just like Tavares did in NY and that would be catastrophic for them. Since they can draft at number 8 ( Nylander, Mittelsatd and Ristolainen) they are better with a proven players that enter is prime and a young prospect forward who can step in a bottom 6 role
