ranking tampa prospects
Lucas Edmonds definitely should go into the possibly get a chance. he was scoring at an unreal pace in the middle of last year and if he can get to 20-25 goals, i think he has a real shot to be a sneaky good 3rd liner in 2-3 years

Merela should be in that final spot. he has been a breath of fresh air to this lineup and i feel like putting him with Stamkos could be magical

What i want to see in preseason
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Hawksguy81</b></div><div>Taking Hagel off top line for Jeannot? Moving Stammer to RW where he can't fire his one timer? I get it's just pre-season but how does this make the Bolts better?</div></div>
More or less to spread out the scoring a bit. just to see what different looks we could get during the season if things hit a slump. Jeannot can be the guy that gets into the dirty areas to fish the puck out for Kuch or Point, Hagel and Stamkos can swap wings if anything but more just to get different looks for secondary scoring. Sheary-Paul-Eyssimont is gonna be the "Energy" line that hopefully can put up 10-20 goals each. 4th line is the gritty forechecking/PK line.

Same move but with Motte
Tampa should not be doing that. We can get a better player for that package. Howard is our best prospect, BB is gonna be in the NHL this year either as a depth forward or a top 6 guy. If i was to go after Duclair, the most i would give up is a lesser prospect like Jack Thompson or Roman Schmidt and a pick and then pay another team a mid round pick to retain the 50% needed to be cap compliant

Tampa passes. No need for DeSmith, Myers and be buried with only 200k against the cap, and Groshev is one of our better prospects and likely wouldnt be moved with a cap dump

Maybe a minor upgrade but i think just based on cap wise, Raddysh is the better option for the bottom pairing than Joki.

i dont hate it, Barre-Boulet likely is the 13th forward so he probably is available due to lack of spot for him. If Jokiharju was a LHD then it would be alot easier of a move for Tampa to make. but Bogo is gonna be the 7th D so thats already 4 RHD on the roster.

Tampa wants Sillinger
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Hockey_Soul</b></div><div>I don't think there is a trade in the NHL where you are going to send out 6.25x8 without taking <strong><em>something</em></strong> back money-wise. Peeke and Bean are a pretty good compromise. You still save money, and Bean is an RFA so no commitment there if you don't want, but he's also a guy that could really pop off in Tampa with that offense.</div></div>
If Tampa could immediately flip both of them then its a different story. But we dont need anymore NHL dmen. if this was during the draft, then i could see them looking at 1 or maybe both, but right now there isnt a need for anything other than a middle 6 forward or 2

Tampa wants Sillinger
As a Tampa fan, i dont hate the value, but the only piece that really interests me is Sillinger. Maybe if someone like Bemstrom and a prospect Dman were added instead, i could see Tampa being curious but likely not making a move. Cirelli was our best forward in the playoffs other than Killorn and will likely have a much better year and be in the Selke conversation.

Merela is going to need to at least start the year in the AHL . Get used to the smaller rinks. Unless he just blows everyone away. Clearly your not double shifting Stamkos to sit Kucherov obvious typo.</div></div>
I love Eyssimont, but unless Sheary or Paul are on the 2nd line, there isnt a spot for him other than 4th line and PK duties. Just going off his linemates, Alot of it was spent with Maroon, Perry, and Paul. If someone like Tatar or whatever middle 6 winger decided to sign here, there really isnt a chance for Eyssimont to be more than a 4RW and PK guy. I honestly wouldnt mind seeing Eyssimont with Paul and Jeannot and letting them just wear down teams like Goodrow-Gourde-Coleman did

Eyssimont will probably be on the 4th line wing, maybe he ends up 3rd line over time if they move Paul up. But knowing Cooper and how he likes his lines, Paul will likely be the 3C most of the year to add "Depth" to the bottom 6. I wouldnt mind seeing a young guy like Goncalves or even Merela stealing a middle 6 spot and shuffling Sheary, Paul, Merela/Goncalves, Jeannot, and Cirelli in the middle 6
maybe even run something along the lines of:
Hagel-Point-Stamkos
Sheary-Paul-Stamkos
Merela-Cirelli-Jeannot
Archibald-Glendening-Eyssimont

Eyssimont shouldnt be the 3C, if anything Paul will be there and Eyssimont will be on the 4th line and probably a call up will steal that final roster spot over Brown and BB
