The Sabres are 6-7-3 since Tuch joined the Sabres or 77 points for an 82 game season.
The previous 17 games the Sabres were 3-10-4 or 48 points for an 82 game season.
DeSmith, and Kapanen will not get the Penguins Tuch.

Let me add, Tuch WANTS TO PLAY IN BUFFALO!

EDIT the Sabres record since Tuch joined the Sabres.
The first game in which he played the Sabres lost in OT, which should have given them an extra point over the period.

Quoting: DennisReynolds

He would be on the third line and penalty kill for sure. There would definelty be a spot for him. He can play all three forward positions and he is Colorado’s main penalty killing forward. I’d love to have him, but that seems like more of an off-season move, another university of Michigan alumni ironically. I can see the interest in Colin Miller. He fits in great there and can play both sides with ease. His best season in Vegas was actually on the left side.

As far as the Olafsson trade. If Buffalo gets anything remotely close to a first alone for Olafsson, I would take that and run, but I don’t think he’s worth a first. He probably doesn’t factor in to the long term plans in Buffalo, but as of now, I wouldn’t move him until the off-season. The Sabres have two really good lines righty now with Tage-Tuch-Skinner and Cozens-Krebs-Olafsson. If Quinn is healthy along with a Mittelstadt who was their best player in camp, that’s two thirds of a third line. It’s not like they’ll push for a playoff spot or anything when they are healthy but you still need some guys who can play and play with the young guys.

I think Olafsson is valued at a second round pick. He’s a poorman’s Victor Arvidsson, and isn’t as well rounded, and he fetched a two and a three

If we don't trade Olofsson or Mittelstadt there won't be a place for Compher, I know he's a decent player, but priority will be given to youth and Adams has already said that.
