Lists I am looking at have Fagemo as a top 3 prospect for the Kings...It doesnt get much better than that. The Strome value is all over the place though

It has him as both but you can just swap him with Kravstov because he has played both sides. I know its silly not to just take Lafreniere but they have Kreider and Panarin at LW so if they can get a top wing prospect and Byfield to fill the void at center it might be too good to pass up. But I agree the smart thing is probably just take AL 1 overall if they win the lotto.

I disagree, and I admit I am biased because I am a Rangers Fan but Kreider can bring things to this team that many others cant. Speed, size, physicality, net front presence and penalty kill. As weird as it sounds hes a perfect bottom 6 winger for this type of talented roster

Like I said in the description, I likely missed some guys so I mustve read his age wrong but regardless Cal Petersen is supposed to be the heir apparent to Quick so he could be a solid backup for this team in 2022 but yes as of right now Gibson is better. But I still start Hellebuck, he is my vezina winner this past season

Why would the Rangers do that? They are trying to win now so theyre going to keep theyre best players while aquiring Eichel. If he wants out they would have to do something and in this scenerio they get a starting goalie, a top 6 winger, a middle 6 center, and a top 4 RHD all under the age of 27 and proven commodoties as opposed to prospects and then a first rd pick....If the Sabres don't say yes to that I would be shocked. (Again if Eichel wants out!)

How much do you think he is getting? it's his first good year and his defense is still a little suspect. On top of that the cap crunch is going to hurt a lot of players contracts so we may see a lot of 1 year deals to push it to 2021 or arbitration hearings.

Strome has had a really good season but not sure if he can reproduce those numbers. He could, assuming he plays with 67 and 61 but Glass has more potential. I see Strome as middle-six F. He's been playing for 6 years as regular and 4/6 seasons, under 40 pts. Correct defensively. Maybe I underestimate him but doubt.
His value is high right now so NYR should capitalize on that and get a good return but from VGK side, trading a guy like Glass (and for that return) I wouldn't do that.</div></div>
Fair enough, like you said I think Rangers should sell high on Strome so if they could get someone like Glass I would. But Strome's Value is all over the board so I have no idea what he will be able to get in return!

I would say middle 6 C but either way you saw last year he is not ready for that role and Vegas is trying to win now. So bring in a guy that can produce as a high end 3C behind Karlsson and Stastney and then you still have Krebs to take over after Stastney is gone. And then took Holden off the books and threw in a 3rd rounder to top it off. Seemed logical but I understand if you disagree

Rangers issue right now is depth scoring in the bottom 6, if you can have Anderson as 3rd line winger and Dubi as any sort of resemblance of his 2018 self as a 4th line center, that is a huge upgrade over Mckegg and Diguiseppe...I can't speak for Columbus but to add a veteran middle 6 center that can play wing too without giving up much...idk what team wouldnt wanna do that if they can afford it.

Why? you get to revamp your bottom 6 with an experienced center to the 4th line and a big cheap body for wing on the 3rd line. The issue with the rangers offense this past season is the bottom 6 not contributing. So you get that and then Logan Brown/howden to fill back into center after Dubi is gone in 1 year.

Dubinsky is LTIR eligible and probably going to retire. And Strome and a 2nd is an overpay for Anderson.
Columbus also doesn’t need another 3rd line center who will get overpaid and and not produce. We already have Wennberg for that role. Strome is a product of playing with Panarin.</div></div>

I dont know, like I said, Strome's Value is all over the board... he wouldve put up nearly 70 points this season as a 2C on a young team that could make the playoffs. He obviously has flaws but if you can't resign Brodin that is probably the skill you are getting for him as far as Centers go.

True, I just dont know who they CBO that opens up enough Cap space to resign both of them to the numbers they want. Basically what I am saying is the Rangers could price the offer sheet out of Tampa Bay's Range if they want to.

NYR Offer Sheet Cirelli
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Sagecoll</b></div><div>You can't just resign a UFA that easily...I wouldn't bank on doing that, especially because that same year you also have to sign Chytil, Buch, Igor, Lindgren, and more!
The reasons for the Rangers to deal Strome are
a) He blocks Chytil whose development into the top 6 is paramount
and
b) Rangers are in a slight cap crunch needing to sign Deangelo long term, so because Strome would be a 3C on this team, it doesn't make sense for the Rangers to sign him,
However, there are plenty of teams where Strome <em>would</em> be the 2C: Winnipeg, Anaheim, Columbus, Detroit, Florida, just to name a few.
Find a team with a hole at 2C and a solid 3C to spare. work out the difference in picks. go from there.</div></div>
Minnesota does need a Center (koivu, and Galchenyuk are gone and Staal is getting old) and I was just trying to find a whole to fill with Strome as opposed to just getting draft picks back. But you can make a trade with the implications of resigning prior to it like Stone did with VGK. Like I said though I thought it was 2 years of Brodin so that wouldve been worth it since this is the time to sell on Strome.
As for the signings of Buch, Chytil and them I wouldn't worry about them until it gets there. They are RFAs besides Buch and not worth much yet. Still need to get through Expansion draft first.
And clearly Minnesota fans (look at other comments above) think they can easily re sign Brodin lol. And Strome isnt enough for a year of Brodin so like I said his value is all over the board right now.

Woops I thought it was 2 years of Brodin but you can always resign him he's young, and it will probably be 1 year of Strome as well.
I just think the way the offseason is going right now that they wouldnt be able to agree on a 4 or 5 year deal with Strome. I would expect a 1 year or maybe 2 year deal because of cap space and the uncertainty of what he really is still. Specifically without Panarin on his wing and his rough defensive metrics/Penalties.
