Columbus Blue Jackets signed Pierre-Luc Dubois (2 Years / $5,000,000 AAV)
Good signing the only "wrong" thing is that in two years Columbus will have to re-sign Dubois, Domi, Werenski, Jones and both goalies at the same time. They should have give him longer term and money to avoid that since they had the capspace to do it.

Danault - Trading Him - Losing Him - Keeping him
They likely keep him at least until trade deadline. If they're practilly out he's traded if not they keep him in hope to get the playoffs and then who knows what happens. After this season I don't see him in a Habs jersey. Suzuki and KK will pass him in the depth charts and I don't see Montreal pay him 5.5M/season to play on the third line. Poehling will probably be the one to center the third line in the future and will cost less.

Initials challenge
My first name starts with E and I have two last names (SM). So I have to take players whose last name starts with either E,S,M and try to build a team with a few restrictions.

I also think it's an overpaiment. I like Dubois but I think 7.5-8M should be enough for him. Plus with the injury of Nyquist they should try to sign Hoffman. I think they could get him around 5.5 which is the same of Nyquist.

Canadian division
Montreal got a lot better. Calgary too. Markstrom is a big upgrade in front of their net and Tanev is better defensively with Tanev instead of Brodie.
The reason why I put Edmonton that low is because I don't like their goalie tandem who's probably the weaker of this division. Sure having McDavid and Draisaitl will help but if any of them misses time they don't have the depth like Calgary, Winnipeg, Montreal or Toronto. Basically Edmonton is a team were you have to contain McDavid and Draisaitl.

I do agree on most of them I would just change:
Boston: Studnicka
Chicago: Dach
Florida: Denisenko
L.A. Byfield
Minnesota: Kaprizov
Nashville: Fabbro
Pittsburgh: Poulin
Winnipeg: Heinola

Toffoli, Anderson, Gallagher, Armia the rw looks pretty good. With this I think the Habs should be consider a contender team.

Similar type of contrat then Wilson who are similar type of players. However Anderson just missed almost the entire last season while not producing offensively, while Wilson didn't suffer a major injury yet. If he can gain form it could be a good contrat however I have my doubt about right now so I'll vote no.

If Habs trade their 1st round pick
My choice would be Rakell. He can play at all positions, he can score and his cap hit is pretty reasonable. Sure the last two seasons were difficult for him but I think part of it is due to the fact the Ducks weren't a good team either.

The Athletic rumor mill
The Ducks trade seems interesting but it happens only if Drysdale is taking at 5 by Ottawa, if not they keep it. At 6 Minnesota would have a interesting center in one of Rossi, Perfetti, Lundell. While Anaheim draft 9 Sanderson should still be available and it would likely be Anaheim choice.

Who Do They Take
I think it's gonna be F
IMO L.A will take Byfield at second so Ottawa takes Stutzle. At 4 I got Detroit taking Rossi and at 5 they take Drysdale. He's on the same park as Heiskanen, Makar, Dahlin, Hugues (the new wave of defenseman). Plus Ottawa would have Chabot, Brannstrom, Drysdale, Bernard-Docker for many years and it could be a excellent top4 in the future.

Perfect Offseason
I do agree on most parts. The only thing I won't do is to trade for Mantha AND Anderson. Don't forgot we got Caufield. If you sign both these guys there's no place for Caufield because you can't put him on a 4th line and Gallagher will probably walk as a ufa because Mantha will ask for more than that and won't be able to pay him.
From what I've heard Sanderson plays a game similar than Werenski. I also would like the Habs to trade to get him. With him and Romanov the left side of the defenseman won't be a problem for years.

Edmonton offseason
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>markmws</b></div><div>While Puljujarvi is intriguing, I am not sure he will get the Oilers an early-to-mid first round pick in <em>this</em> draft. While he's done well back in Finland, we all expected that he would. I think they could get an early-to-mid second round pick in this year's draft, and maybe a B-level prospect. That's just my opinion (please don't hate).</div></div>
ahah I Don't Don't worry, as long as the comments are respectul it's all good. I do agree it's intriguing. I think Puljujarvi is worth between a 15-20th overall pick (mtl as the 16th), so the value is not that far. Then it's up to Holland to convice Bergevin that he should do the trade.

Which UFA D man should the Jets Target
Ive done a Winnipeg agm today. DeMelo should be top priority. After that I would go with Dillon. A hard to play against defenseman. So the top 6 would look like this:
Morrissey- DeMelo
Dillon-Pionk
Beaulieu- Niku

Oups it was supposed to be a 3 year deal.
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BankersBox</b></div><div>I can't see this being the strongest offer Chicago will get for Strome. They should be looking for a Dman or a Goalie in a trade if they can't resign him.</div></div>
I view Strome as someone who can get you a mid 1st round (15 overall), while Roslovic a high first rounder (22-25th). The difference would be a 2nd round pick and they could add a 3rd if necessary or maybe another 2nd but would be my final offer.

New York Rangers offseason
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Scoob1978</b></div><div>Lias Andersson is a toxic asset at this point. You are better off trying to trade to a team with a need at center like Winnipeg or Ottawa.</div></div>
Winnipeg are looking for top 6 who's ready to assume that role which is not the case for Andersson. Ottawa is in the middle of their rebuild and anyways they'll pick either Stutzle or Byfield with the #3 pick. With #5 they'll pick either Drysdale or Rossi so Ottawa doesn't need to trade for Andersson. I've picked Minnesota because both Staal and Koivu are +35, Eriksson Ek is more of a top 9 guy and they already got pieces in place to at least push for the playoffs. A strong top 4 defensifely, Fiala, Kaprizov, Parise (if he's not traded), but they lack top 6 potential guys. With their pick they'll pick either Askarov or Lundell but they won't play for them for the next 2-3 seasons.
